How did Zeon lose the majority of the fleet during the Battle of Loum? Literally every anime depiction of the battle shows Zeon utterly stomping the Federation with ease at the Battle of Loum with minimal losses. It was comically one sided.

If you see MS Igloo and Gundam Origins, you can see the Federation Fleet just tore a hole into the Zeon Fleet while giving off distraction. The only saving grace that saved the Zeonic Fleet were the Mobile Suits.

Type B GMs are like Type C GMs from 0083. Type-Cs were still used through the Delaz conflict and if I recall the pre-Gryps war.

@@kindlingking They probably have better economies. The economic power alone to build a space colony of the scale in the anime is probably enough to quadruple the current USA standing forces.

@@maryrose2676 not economies, but industrial capacity, because regardless of costs building a mobile suit would require massive industrial sector. But to build an army of these things? Or to build an army of these things while yourself being just a space colony? It's a shame Gundam only pretends to be deep, at moments like these I'd love to explore socio-economic internals of Earth Federation more.

@@kindlingking As a riposte, I'd argue that a massive economy has a massive industrial capacity. I also wonder where zeon got that industrial capacity, but the federation should be more than capable of a massive war machine output. I just ducked it and it seems there's at least 1 colony dedicated to industrial production in the original series universe.
