Stealing the enemy radio is such a great feature to have in a game.
@reanukeevesau8 ай бұрын
We did it in Afghanistan and Iraq, they used unencrypted icom radios, so easy to tune in with the interpreter to find out who's doing what in what areas! Was great as Intel Agent & Counter-Intel Agent, also had a Signals Guy pretty much attached at my hip who's main job was nicknamed Bears lol but they find the frequency in the area they were using then could also triangulate their position to within a certain distance, also had a bunch of other cool shit I can't talk about, still under my 50 year Security Clearance period. Was an amazing time as I started deployments as a Armoured Vehicle Driver then Commander at Corporal I Corps transferred to Military Intelligence, not American but worked with a Bunch of western countries between Afghanistan and Iraq deployments, some as Armor Vehicle Crewman then as Intel attached to my Country's SF Task Force for Middle East operations, so anytime I had Intel for teams it could be a bunch of different teams from my country that may get the job or if I was working with other western countries Intel and we'd do joint ops with other countries SOF Teams, bunch of different units as well.

I liked how at the end, they said there had to be 10-15 in that ambush, it reminded me of our training many many years ago. During jungle phase of our training and survival, we would go out in 6-4 man squads, it was usually 4 man though. Because we were taught to break off into two man teams so as to recon enemy movements, they taught us drills that if we were to come in to contact with the enemy, that were to 'shoot and scoot', basically expending as much ammunition and ordnance as possible, whilst bounding back away from enemy (but away from RP or lay up pos). Experience had shown the military powers that be, that forces will often not stop chasing, sometimes through the night into the day. Plus you'd be thankful for getting rid of as much weight as possible. Doing this 'shoot and scoot' we'd would be as loud as humanly possible (the enemy already know we're there after all), we'd then maneuver in an opposite direction quietly, and it made us the 4 or 2 man team, seem like a much much larger force. I don't know if they still teach it, but this does work. Bringing overwhelming force of fire tends to deter people from chasing you through scrub and jungle were you can't see more then 10 feet in front of you. People not wanting to die or look weak to comrades and superior officers and with the stresses of combat all mix together for a big ball of confusion. Not only is it great to not be chased/captured/killed, it is exactly what small recon squads use to be successful. Great video mate, cheers.

It's one of the few games I actually came out of my bubble and used comms because it feels like a major part of the game. It makes me sad to see because some of my most intense experiences were having to go radio silence while my squad was actively trying to get comms from me because I had enemies near. This just ruins the experience for him and the people he kills along the way imo 🤷 Imagine if everyone played like this it would retract from the experience so much....

2:58. ArmA explosives' biases (or bugs) are kind of realistic. Had a conversation with a Russian SVO veteran. According to his experiences, most of RPG nade types do not guarantee the crew will die. He himself survived an RPG shot being aboard the mighty Bukhanka. Moreover, the car was crowded but nobody was badly injured. A beam of liquid metal just zipped through the lucky spot where nobody was on it's way. Maybe if it was an anti-infrantry cassete nade (still enough penetration to Bukhanka) instead of cumulative Luch, it could turn them into a minced meat, but cumulative nades suck at purposefully killing crew. The crew usually dies to the aftermath of the hit, when the vehicle explodes. But the only thing that can explode in Bukhanka (and Tiger from this video) is fuel tank.

After doing some shows he got some money together and got a great producer for the first few episodes. The stories were fire and the first uploads he did went viral. He learned to interview and did some crazy shit like visiting a cartel boss. After that he started pulling bigger and bigger names and monetizing through various channels. Basically you have to be able to consistently do wild, super cool shit and the business side requires a bit of setup from people who know what they're doing.
