Firefights are insane in this when you enable the mag redux mod. Gotta prep first, check how many mag pouches your armor has, pack you mags with the ammo you wanna use. It's wild.

I love the Mags mod, it's the only way I play. Completely changes how you go into firefights and how bold you get with taking on multiple enemies at once. Also really affects which armors and/or backpacks you use given how many mag pouches you get with each

Man you bring some much memories with your talk about past, I remember Battlefield 4 also being my first proper multiplayer FPS, I also got it around the Christmas time, most of my friends at the time started from bf 3 or bad company 2 and it felt little bit sad to be lagging behind especially considering that at first I were terrible at it, but hearing you having the same experience even though it's a little thing and otherwise our upbringing were nothing alike makes me feel connected. 9:30 That wasn't on accident. That was a strategic knife in order to cut the air in front of you thereby creating a temporary vacuum which accelerated you forward. Similar effects occur when just running with a knife which is why that increases speed :)

Been following Anomaly GAMMA for a while now and did a full playthrough of it early in the summer. Some of the most fun i've had in a game for a long time. Will wait for the 1.0 release and stable mod list. Each update makes the fingers itch more. Just immense support to Grok and all the people in the discord helping out with the development, making custom shaders, texture compilations. And of course for you as well Drewski for making people find out about this project.

Probably the closest Fallout 4 overhaul mod in scope to stalker gamma is FROST Survival Simulator. It completely removes the Fallout 4 storyline, opting for a setting closer to when the bombs originally fell. It introduces a new questline, factions, towns, and voiced characters. It also overhauls the environment and survival mechanics. Would love to see you play it!

The FROST mod makes the game insanely difficult though, in that you die all the time. It's a death simulator lol. In STALKER Anomaly/Gamma the difficulty seems to be more curated; yeah even with the best gear you can still die, but it's not so bad that you die every couple of minutes, heh. I thought it was just me until I saw a playthrough on KZbin and realised it's just FROST :p But it's kinda addictive nonetheless. I dunno what it is, but I keep getting dragged back to it. Glutton for punishment I guess.

My brother, father, and I would go hunting in the Colorado Rockies annually. I vividly remember many times when we would step outside of our tent or pop-up camper in the middle of the night to piss, turn off our headlamps, and just see the big band of stars of the entire Milky Way going across the sky. Quite literally the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed, it never gets old. And on moonless nights you would not be able to see your own body, let alone the ground, it was genuinely unnerving just how _dark_ it was. On nights with a full moon however, it was bright enough to cast shadows of the trees around us, and you could easily go on a night hike. Quite amazing how stark the difference can be up in the middle of the Rockies. Some of the best memories I have. I miss those days so much.

its really cool, as a Czech that you can hear very similiar words to Czech from all the slavic languages such as polish, ukranian, russian etc... for example "protivnika" - 22:12 is pretty much "protivník" (in Czech) or "Já raněn" wich means "im hit" or "Im hurt" :D

That’s why it was possible to build the interslavic. For those unaware that’s an attempt to unify all slavic people via a common language. ‘Protivnik’ also means enemy in Serbian, ‘ja ranjen’ - I am wounded too. It’s also the same in Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrian etc.
