What would I give to hear the whole MAYH live. It's my favorite Opeth album, love every song!

Not me. Don’t misunderstand me, i absolutely love and adore this opeth! They are my favorite band of all time and will always be! But i think that the music they make now are as perfect as this! I love both periods equally. I will admit that my top albums of them is MAYH, Still Life and Blackwater Park though. But i think all of their albums (except morningrise, orchid and morningrise, which still are close to perfect) are masterpieces! It just comes down to preference in my ranking. Everything is as good as each other

Absolutely amazing, brilliant song. One of the best tracks from My Arms, Your Hearse. Wish they would've included this one in their setlist at the Roundhouse or the Royal Albert Hall.

Would be awesome to see them do a complete playthrough of either MAYH or still life for their evolution XXX tour next year.. So far it doesn’t seem they will play a album in it’s entirety before one song from each album this time though..

not a big fan of the organs in this song, i kinda wish they used more melotron-ish sounds live i feel like I'm listening to deep purple with metal vocals. if they used more melotron they'd sound more like their albums

Damn Mikael is such a great vocalist for someone with very limited range.
@01theyounggun6 жыл бұрын
Could you explain how his range is limited? And I’ll explain how his range is quite shocking when you hear his natural speaking voice
@jinxie10805 жыл бұрын
@@01theyounggun Yeah my thoughts exactly, I was well impressed when I heard how deep his natural speaking voice is compared to his clean vocals
@ogulcanyolcu87145 жыл бұрын
@@01theyounggun his range is actually limited. Stop being dumb fanboy, in his over 20 years of musical career, 2019 is his peak for clean vocals. Speaking voice is a different thing and it's not hard to go up from that lower note to sing I don't know, any Damnation song. It doesn't mean it's a large range.

Oğulcan Yolcu how am I being a dumb fanboy? If I’m wrong fair enough but there’s no need to be a dick
