It's a massive shame Pat Kennedy died of a heart attack only a couple of months after this. Nice comment about Pat from the director of Jeff upon hearing of Pat Kennedy's passing: "Pat had an unforgettable sense of humor, an enormous heart and an enthusiasm for life that was incredibly rare and inspiring. He also routinely spoke about the importance of forgiveness, open-mindedness and empathy, which seemed surprising and courageous for a man whose line of work brought him face to face with so much danger & fear." He's right about forgiveness. You ever seen that footage of that man by the name of Rule rewiring Gary Ridgway's head by forgiving him for killing his daughter? Powerful stuff, that forgiveness.

Scary to think Tracy Edwards wasnt pressing charges, and that this story could have kept going. I do think I read that Dahmer was being evicted, and im not sure how he would have disposed of the drum and other evidence during his move, but I suppose it was possible, and that many more young men would have died at the hands of Dahmer. Thank god he didnt hide those Polaroids better.
@sevimzdem Жыл бұрын
He was actually keeping the polaroids in a locked box. It was later when he completely lost control he didn't care anymore and became a mess. I believe it was either in his interrogation or during one of his talks with the psychiatrists he said that he would have destroyed all of the evidence for the eviction. But he also said that it would be very hard for him to part away from all of that. Since he was also planning to build an altar. Nevertheless to think he was that close to destroying all of the evidence and just leave the place completely in a month is CRAZY. He would have been never found or would have been found only after killing 15-or-some other men.

Dahmer was sick but his uncaring parents made him that way, leaving him at home by himself for months at a time - his younger brother stayed with his mother, wherever she was. You have a schizophrenic mother and a weird chemist for a dad who had a bell set up in his office to let him know if somebody was coming towards the room.

Scott B wow seriously?? I never knew that about his dad. that's pretty weird. I knew the mom and dad left him alone for 2weeks and that's when he picked up the boy hitchhiker and brought him back to his "parents free" house and killed the boy, dismembered his body and put it in the back of his car to bring it to the land fill. but on the way he was stopped by a police officer for swaying in and out of his lane. The cop asked Dahmer was was he doing out at 2a.m in the morning and what was in the trash bags that were in the back of his car. Dahmer quickly made up a lie and said he couldn't sleep so he decided to take the trash to the land fill. The cop believed him and let him go. He then went back home and brought the body into his basement and crushed the dismembered body parts into small pieces. In his backyard he burned what he could of the dismembered body parts and whatever was left over he stood near the woods close to his backyard and turned in a circle while scattering the boys remains. It was his first kill and in his eyes a successful one. The boys body parts were never found. This opened Pandora's box and Dahmer was on his way to horrifying a nation and making history as one of the sickest serial killers ever

+Ashley P Fortunately the bone fragments of Hicks, his first victim, were found in a "sweep" of that area of the woods, among other animal bones, an old watch and even a prescriptions bottle with a faded sticker that had Dahmer's mom's name. I've seen a picture of all those items found, all rusted and weathered. I'd invested so much time into this case and it was mentally draining AFTER the fact. I'd even made a memorial video that was released on the 20th anniversary of Dahmer's apprehension. Dahmer was a normal kid until his teenage years when his parents were splitting and getting weirder. His dad also written a book, indicating that HE could have gone the way of Jeffrey too. This case and Dean Corll are the two I find most fascinating.

11:47 It's an obvious statement, but considering it came from Opie I'm stunned. That shit is right out of a fucking movie.
