I don't say this to blame Cumia's termination on Opie, but, rather, to suggest that, had this Twitter scandal not happened, some similarly-bad Sirius management action might well have followed in 2015 or 2016. Jim Norton recently remarked that "He (Jim) was reduced to 3 days a week during the late 2000s," and, though he can't definitively prove it, he felt Opie's back-room ratting to executives was at least partially responsible.
