I love the Beatles but I laugh when anyone insinuates they were tough guys or bad assess, etc. They never had to work jobs outside of performing, and they were rich and famous by their early twenties. Sorry but that's the opposite of a badass. They may have been raised working class but that's not the same as having to live as one as grown up - big difference.
