I know a fun fact about ABBA - one of the women, Frida, is the biological daughter of a Nazi soldier. When Nazi soldier's invaded places many of them would 'bribe' and/or rape the women there and many of those women got pregnant as a result - that's what happened with Frida's mother. Those kids, ironically, were persecuted by the locals in the years after WW2 who decided they inherited the blame of their Nazi father's crimes (a very Nazi concept) and so many were given new names and lives elsewhere. It's a pretty sad story, but the wider issue is that Anthony is clearly attracted to the wrong ABBA woman.

They didn't need to bribe or rape the women. I'm not saying that never happened, but once the Germans occupied a country, a bunch of soldiers (young men) would be hanging around and would date the young women in those countries. They probably looked pretty cool and badass too, considering they just beat the men from the women's native countries, which definitely helped German soldiers out as far as dating went. Things happen when young people get together and sometimes children are born. You can see pictures of the numerous consenting relationships between women in occupied countries and German soldiers. There were cameras of course, and you can find hundreds of pictures of local French/Swedish/Dutch/Belgian girls with big smiles in photos with young smiling German soldiers. You are correct in saying that the local men resenting this and would persecute the women after the war. Most of these were consensual relationships but they'd also persecute the women who got pregnant in a coerced or forced relationship. A lot of the time, it would be left wing and communist groups hurting these women who did nothing wrong. Which makes sense since the supporters of communism are incels who believe that society owes them women and that sex should be divided up amongst them just like the means of production.

ABBA it’s the first initials of each member’s names. Any kid born in the 70’s will know at least a handful of their songs. I will say, though lyrically they were corny, the musicians on the tracks were tight and the production and sound engineers were top notch.

+ITILII - Probably the countries that invented all the genres that those genres are based off? Seriously, why does everything always come down to the USA 'one upping' every other country with some Americans? You can't just say America has produced some great music along with many other countries - no, USA has to be the _best_ at producing music.
