I remember the day after this aired and before this happened people genuinely thought Tucker Max was a god. His writing style made him sound hilarious (he was almost on par with Maddox at that time) but after this aired people realised he was talking nonsense. Seeing him actually explaining his stories in person was weird, because it sounded a lot less funny and you could tell he was likely lying about all of his stories. He even had his own chat forum at the time and he would immediately ban anyone who brought up the Opie and Anthony interview, lol. The forum died less than a year later despite being active for years.
