I mix the potatoes with well steamed and mashed cauliflower adding pepper and nothing else. It adds more flavor and more substance with barely any calories. Another tip with feelings is to mix the Jalapeño poppers or other snacks with salsa. I like savory things more than sweet so if any one else has a suggestion please share !!!!

These are great! I have tried the garlic potato hack, the blueberry biscuit biscuit hack, and from your vid a day of fuelings I started adding almond butter on top of my brownie! All yum!

Mallorie thank you so much! I made this recipe 6 times. I filled my muffin tin (2 muffins each batch) I used all three flavors. I froze some, and for the others I put them in an airtight container with a piece of bread to make them moist. The were delicious! TIP I rotated the muffins by flavor so I knew which two muffins came out of the same batch.

I'm six days in and found you and started watching. I have learned a lot. I appreciate how at the end of a "hack" you will call out how many condiments or fats have been used. Just tried the potato waffle and was amazingly satisfied. Thank you.

Congrats Rebecca! I too have been on the program for 6 months and lost 45 lbs. I'm 71 and feel the best I've felt in decades. I have energy am motivated and my life has changed. My life was blah before and now I'm enjoying life.

Yes, I have done this!!! Love it. I measure out exactly 1/8 tsp of the baking soda. Otherwise, the cakes often fall and don't stay puffed up.

Recently found your channel, and I appreciate your hacks! I realize you no longer use Optavia, and I understand it isn’t something sustainable for everyone. What I came to say is the muffin/cupcake hack seems to work wonders for the dark chocolate cherry shake mix, which I was going to have to send back, since I find it intolerable as a shake! I found a few drops of Stevia also improve the flavor. I’ve topped mine with 1 tablespoon of fat-free cream cheese per muffin. I do have some thoughts about the kind of mindset that I think is suitable for long-term sustainability on this program. If you or anyone else who reads this comment is interested in my longer monologue, let me know. I’m not selling anything, but it would be a lengthy comment, and I will invest the time only if someone has interest. Anyway, thank you so much for the work you put into creating these videos! They are well edited and not full of superfluous comments, which I have appreciated!

Thank you Mallorie! I'm into my 2nd week and am NOT liking the sweeter items like I was hoping to. I'm hoping these will help. You mention using the choc. chip cookie, what about the pancake? My coach says that maybe the "yucky" after taste that I'm having is due to my tastebuds changing. Sure hope so!! The few fuelings I have that you didn't mention - and maybe I need to search your other posts - are the choc fudge pudding; frosty coffee; yogurt berry blast; and cinnamon cream cheese swirl cake. Can you help w/ some hacks/other ideas than what the packet says on these? Is there a way I can scroll your earlier posts to find some? Thank you so much! Looking forward to trying these.

Thank you for the great tips. I just got my months fueling today. But I'm def going to try the mac n cheese next time. It looks and sounded so good. I have a question maybe you can answer. I prefer Blue Diamond almond milk to Silk or any other brand. I just read in the condiment section that 1/2 cup of blue diamond counts as one condiment and 1 cup of silk counts as one. I've been doing a cup of BD for a servicing. Do you know why BD counts as 1/2 cup? Thanks

If you add a little bit of the liquid first, it won't stick to the top of the cup and need less shaking!

I am new to all of this. In my first box there were 4 fuelings that I have no desire to eat. They are the strawberry shake, dark chocolate covered cherry shake, zesty cheddar and Italian herb crunchers and caramel delight crisp bar. What can I do with these to change the taste?

I used my strawberry fueling and the chocolate PB fueling. Well, the strawberry cupcakes are more moist and denser than the chocolate PB. The chocolate PB are light and airy. I added SF whipping cream on them.They aren't bad at all. I will definitely do this again. I wish I had more cookies and cream shake.

How many condiments are you allowed in a day? I’m thinking of doing this diet but doing my research first because I have been burned tooo many times with over priced diet plans that did not work. And do you have any hacks for coffee creamer? Your videos are very informative thanks

it was suggested to me to make it the night before - the longer it sits the better it becomes. I add a small amount of chopped bell pepper, mushroom and last night added 1/4 cup of Trader Joe's Mexican cauliflower rice. I also took the BBQ crunchers and crushed it up (by hand) added 2 tbsp egg beaters and 2-3 tbsp of water - waffled that. 1/2 and 1/2 of each twice during the day - YUM!

I mix up a pack of vanilla shake and pour half of the Crunchy O's in a bowl and pour half of the shake in as milk. Tastes surprisingly better to me. I'm mixing various things so they don't get boring.

Hi Mallorie! This is day #4 for me using the Optavia program. So far, I'm loving it! Are your fueling hacks safe for the 5&1 plan? My coach doesn't seem to think so. And believes if I use your Smashed potato hack, it will slow down my weightloss.

Your coach is right. Condiments can be added to the lean and green meal ONLY.

Any hacks for Mac n cheese, morning blueberry cereal ANd cinnamon apple oatmeal? Just started the program and I only tried those once and can’t bring myself to try again

Can you use sugar free skippy peanut butter for a condiment? Can you use sugar free teriyaki sauce in a stir fry? I just started 4 days ago. Are we counting carbs, calories or both in the program

Question? When you add a condiment to a fueling do you deduct it off you lean and green meal? New to this , would like a daily idea of the five feelings with added condiments and then a recipe for a lean and green meal. Ty so much. Enjoy your ideas
