According to Autel, the controller antennas should be pointing down, with the flat sides more or less tilted upward toward the drone.

Wow, that's really good to know. I missed that when getting mine all setup. I just assumed that it should be the same as the DJI Phantom 4 Pro that I used to own. Thanks so much for sharing that with me!

How is the camera on this drone on real time flying specially at night ?👍👍👍👌👌👌

It's a great sensor. Keep in mind, there are newer drones with better sensors know, but still, even today, the sensor is great. It's not earth shatteringly fantastic at night, it's a little better than the others from it's time. If you want the absolute best right now - www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1665139-REG/dji_cp_ma_00000440_01_mavic_3_fly_more.html . It's not cheap though. As for your question regarding flying at night, your real problem will be keeping an eye on your drone and bringing it back, it will be hard to see it in the sky. If you're flying in a city with lights, you can definitely get some great video but if you fly it in the mountains, I don't think the sensor will be strong enough to get a good image.

nice video the main reason for me to film in 4 k with this bird, is that this is the only configuration to give u 10 bit color. 6 k will give u only 8 bit . The difference in color grading is huge. I also live in Costa Rica and having the same bird.. I like your Videos on your Chanel .Subscribed to your Chanel.

Amazing! Agreed, the 10bit and flat profile make a bug difference!

@@HappyCamperDeals I liked it longer, this was exactly the video I was hoping to find. You went through everything I needed to know! 💪🔥

@@C0rnern glad you found the video helpful. It took a very long time to figure out what settings get the best quality. One suggestion is to try different settings while in a steady holding pattern or even when not flying to review what looks better. Good luck!

Great Video.....love how you went through the settings. Don't sweat the length. You mention a Costa Rica video......I don't see it under your videos. I'm actually going to CR in a week and my Evo II Pro comes on Monday. Super excited. Would love to see what you captured.

@@jasonzuniga2587 Thanks for the encouragement! Here are some clips captured in Costa Rica and other spots too. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3TFcop_h7qXb5Y . This video also has some of my timelapse work as well. Good luck out there! Be careful, it can start to rain suddenly so make sure you can get your drone back on short notice. Otherwise, the vistas are amazing, you're sure to get some fantastic footage!

some good and lots of not so good info. PIV is not an interval for the video in seconds. It is for doing photos while shooting video. they are taken from the video and stored in a JPG format. Shutter priority will allow you to "lock" your shutter speed. typically FPSx2 is right. If you are shooting 30 fps it would be locked at 120/125. This works well if you do not have ND filters which was also not explained. Rough batch of info. Sorry dude.

No need to apologize, I really appreciate the information. Originally I created this video for a friend who was going to fly the drone and doesn't have as much experience. I took my best shot. Feedback/comments like yours help me do better and makes me realize I need to be more careful when creating content because my errors can misguide others who are trusting what I say. Interestingly (to me anyway) this video is what made me decide to get back into YouTubing which actually has been going well. All the more reason I should be careful to know what I'm talking about before creating content. I'm shying away from Drone instructional because it's not my strong suit and I will be mindful of your comments for future videos I create. Thanks Jerry Omo Jr.
