Hi Walter, when you quoted this ductwork replacement did you have a plan or sketch of how it would look before or do you and the companies you subcontract with figure out the design on the job? I was just curious of your process for ductwork replacement and design.

First, a rough estimate.I pretty much take all the measurements and sizes. I purchase all the material, and if I'm short of something, I'll pick it up. They will let me know exactly what's needed during the demo

All I see sealing transition,plenum ect is 3.5” AC tape. No mastic ??
