Had the idea of making this for a while, in an effort to share the methods we have been applying here in cooperation with local arcades. This is just one of many ways to improve pad performance and conditions, and not necessarily the 'best' way. One disadvantage with this method, for example, is that it becomes easier for the switches to slide out of their sockets over time if no additional countermeasures are taken (e.g. self-adhesive cable retainer clips).
This video can be used as a reference for whoever would like to improve the performance of stock pads. I hope it can especially be of use to public operators, in order to make their machine more attractive to players, benefitting both parties.
