Very. I wasn’t hyped bc it was a new decade I was hyped bc of the olympics, my graduation, GTA 6, euro 2020(soccer), the election, and my first vidcon. Hopefully next year shows improvement. Well still be living life like this until June 2021 at the earliest and that’s when we’ll all be vaccinated in the USA. Expect to be wearing masks next year and doing some social distancing. But you can expect larger gatherings depending on if your area is dropping in cases. But that also means that next year we may have VidCon 2021 in the summer too. Also we’ll be able to have larger thanksgiving, Halloween, and Christmas gatherings in 2021(according to state policies). Good luck in 2021 bro

But even then what's the point of celebrating then we were just celebrating a random arbitrary date as "The new decade" (and people are also going to do this again in 2021 because of other obvious reasons btw) even though any year could've been the new decade. Like what was the point of celebrating the new millennium in 2000 (2001 also for the real 3rd millennium by the way) because it's just some arbitrary date that also celebrated as "the new millennium" like it's just arbitrary. On top on that even though it's the standard global year system it doesn't mean it's the only year system ever because in some calendars like the Ethiopian calendar where it's 2013 there or the Hindu calendar - Vikram Samvat where it's 2077 there. Some calendars are more ahead or behind from not only our calendars but others too and it's not a new decade in them though. So you could have fun celebrating the decade I guess but even then I get annoyed by this stuff because ever once ever ten years or so people debate and argue whether or not a decade starts on a zero or a one even though this is debating on a 1,500 year old calendar system, they're both right in their own right, and it's just debating on a human creation that could've started in any year and doesn't affect nature in any way so you won't gain anything from talking about this stuff. So feel free to celebrate but just remember it's just some random stuff and whatever.

I worked this shift till 11:30pm. There might have been a customer a minute every day till lock down. We were so backed up till closing. A normal night at the store we closes at 9:15pm. So for fifty eight hours that week I was their. I am only aloud by the company to work under thirty a week. I worked eighteen days straight. Three people left after and then the virus hit us in a two weeks time.
