When I was growing up, I sort of started out with someone popular stuff, but not the stuff that my older siblings like to listen to. It didn't take me long to get burned out on crap that was played to death on the radio, and so as a teenager, I began to search for less well-known, more obscure music, that spoke to me. Some of it was for pure entertainment, some of it was instrumental, some of it had deep meaning for me. This song has so much to offer, that most popular music in the 80s and 90s, never offered at all. It's highly creative, the fact that the temple picks up significantly during The chorus line is freaking awesome, and it just has a happy, upbeat feel to it. Most people, sadly, don't want talent in the music they listen to, or they don't know what the hell talent actually is. Talent is not when you're doing the same thing every other artist is doing. This song is damned hard to find, but I'm glad it is part of my music collection.

Oh I was fortunate because when I was at Brehm Prep. School the Opus was starting to become immensely popular in the US. I was in Carbondale Illinois from the fall of 1985 to the spring of 1986- I caught double pneumonia ( bacterial and viral) in both lungs. though the right side was more serious than the left side though I was hospitalized for 7 days.

Maybe it's because this song was dedicated to the Olympics in Calgary and how Live is Life was number #1 in Canada I sometimes think Opus is a Canadian group (also how a lot of their lyrics are so pleasant) Truly an amazing Austrian band who really do and had achieved an international success and feel.
