Great review - I have always heard great things about this game. Although, some of my friends would like to see an expansion.

An under appreciated Rosenberg game. Good review.

It's such a great game. And the solo version is great when you are in the mood for looking at a board and think hard for 10 minutes straight...and finish the 10 minutes feeling that you missed at least 2 ways of doing your tasks more efficiently

This is an excellent review for an excellent game. Thanks. With regard to attention to detail, you didn't mention things like how many variations of picture there are on the forest cards. This blew me away when I played.

Hello Paul, I bought this game after your review. Looking forward to playing it. :-) Rhado calls The Colonists a Ora et Labora killer for him. What are your thoughts on The Colonists?
@GamingRulesVideos2 жыл бұрын
Don't agree at all. Both very different games. I've played Colonists once, it was nice, but slow and plays too long.

Not sure it’s a game for me, but thanks for the lesson, count me as educated 😃👍🏼

Let me join those saying this is a great game. Yes, it’s a little convoluted and, yes, in a way, it’s just another Rosenberg game with an oldie times theme involving worker placement and resource management and conversion but it nevertheless feels unique and plays beautifully, with every turn involving interesting decisions and the whole game building very satisfactorily towards its conclusion. Such a shame it was so poorly served by Z-Man printing far too few English language copies which makes tracking down a copy something of a mission. :-(

It’s a great game, but it needs more decks.

That's way too many variations in the rules, iconography and reference aids for player counts that I'll be able to stand. That rulebook also looks incredibly text heavy. It may mechanically be a great game, never tried it but would like to, but I would never want to be the person that owns the game and has to teach it and remember all the rules.

If you've played other Rosenberg worker-placement games, this will click.

@@clvrswine Hopefully, looks more intense then even Caverna or Fields of Arle.
