Thanks for the great news! On a separate note, as part of medical practice in Singapore, why are anti viral meds not prescribed when we see a General Practitioner when infected with covid today? Base on my understanding, patients are only prescribed with meds to treat symptoms like what’s prescribed for flu?

Population-wide studies from Israel, Hong Kong etc. show no evidence of benefit in vaccinated individuals age under 60, hence the risks, however small, outweigh the benefits. 1 course of Paxlovid costs about $1000, which is crazy expensive for a small amount of benefit. I don't know how the cited study in this video got past peer review. Authors assumed that any symptoms after covid was long-covid.

I had Longcovid with fatigue and even falling asleep at work. Not even several cups of coffee had any effect anymore. There is a simple treatment for Long Covid and I tried it and it worked for me. My Longcovid fatigue is gone. The ArtemiC Rescue and Support combo treatment for Longcovid worked for me. It takes 32 days normally, but mine was gone after 9 days. There are a few vids on YT about it and the official site is found easily by searching ArtemiC Rescue

We both had covid in November. I have lingering cough but not long covid. We were not offered either of these drugs when we were sick. If we ever get this again, I think I will ask about molnupiravir.

@@colint3941 we are both over 70. Fortunately neither of us had serious cases. We also aren’t going to get more MRNA vaccines.
@colint3941 Жыл бұрын
@@sharonmitchel1377 Good to hear that none were serious. Anyway Hong Kong territory-wide data shows no significant protection against hospitalisation among fully vaccinated (at least 2-dose mRNA or 3-dose inactivated) from Paxlovid. Co-author of the Lancet study, Prof. BJC, is actually an advisor to Pfizer! Side note, the PARANOMIC RCT by Oxford University found no benefit for Molnupiravir during Omicron. If you have gotten 3-dose mRNA that's probably enough. FDA's Prof. Paul Offit, who co-invented the Rotateq vaccine which most babies get, supports a 4th mRNA dose but only for those age>75, multimorbid, or immunocompromised. Prof Ooi of Duke-NUS, who co-developed SG's mRNA vaccine, seems to have a similar opinion, as I understand from his colleagues. These 2 experts are among the more honest ones.
@@colint3941 that isn't true, long covid is many, many times more prevalent than PVS from other viruses. In the UK 10,000 (from all known viruses on earth combined) Post viral syndromes are recorded each year, covid has caused around 2.5 million in just under 3 years, over 2% of the entire population have long covid. Not even comparable. Even if its under half that have severe long covid, severe enough to have to go the NHS enough to get a diagnosis (some post viral syndromes will not be recorded) that will still be many magnitudes more prevelant. Many post viral syndromes are very different to each other MS is a pvs, sleepy sickness was caused by the 1918 influenza. We still have no idea how people recover with long covid, some people have, some people are still sick at 3 years, some have died from the condition ( very rarely though)
@colint3941 Жыл бұрын
@@funbarsolaris2822 Wrong. The UK Office of National Statistics has a study comparing directly long-covid vs PVS, it found that covid was only 26% more likely to cause persistent symptoms than other infections. Most studies circulating in the media did not have non-infected controls, or had other serious methodological issues. Three of my professors at NUH just blasted a US long-covid study in December, take a look at that Straits Times article.

I took the horse version, nothing happened, no covid no side effects. Took it for 3 days. But do take it before it gets bad. I tried it when it got bad(headache and little cough), it didn't work. And NO, it sadly does not work for the cold sore(still looking for a cure for that one)

Millions got long covid before vaccines had even started production... healthcare workers in the first wave were the most likely to develop the condition. imagine being so indoctrinated by the anti vax cult you can't even see reality right in front of you

Long Covid exists separately from vaccination, i.e. there is vaccine damage but there is also damage from the virus itself, as seen in the many thousands of people who contracted long Covid before the vaccines were even available.
@ex8280 Жыл бұрын
@@funbarsolaris2822 I sort of agree, but based on the people I know, it seems like Covid hit the people hardest who's been vaccinated. What's even more strange, is people who had covid before vaccination was sick for a few days, after the vaccination their covid infection would last a couple weeks. I guess the combination of vaccination and natural immunity doesn't work for them. I actually caught it from them, and it was only a few days of just being tired and a a few more days clearing out my congestion, just like a cold. Either way, it's a not that big of a deal. But my dad did suffer a heart attack, , and my cousin's wife who is 40 now have a pacer. But who knows why, I don't like to ask them, nor would they want to talk about it, it's such a "political" thing. So, you are correct, Long Covid did happen before vaccination, but it would of been nice if they left us some HCQ at the pet store.
