They were my second most played band of the year. Appropriately Avatar was my first. I had never heard of OC until I saw them open for Avatar in early April. I was blown away and have been addicted since. They are definitely going places with more exposure.

Only 3 songs on the EP, but I loved them all. "The Upheaval" was my favorite. And I enjoyed them more than the songs on Descent. But Nija is still untouchable.

I really liked the direction they took with this EP...the change in lyrical content (and this video especially) gave me some big Fit For An Autopsy vibes, but with the signature Orbit Culture sound. I dig it.

Totally agreed. Fit for an Autopsy is probably my all time favorite metal band, and Orbit Culture has been one of my best discoveries this year. Groovy as hell, but HEAVY.

They were hinting at someth9ng on their social media, but the only place they actually said anything about a new EP was on their patreon. They also said that the other two songs were originally going to be added to "Decent" but they felt they didn't fit, and wrote this song within a couple ours of coming off tour with Avatar. Damn impressive stuff.
