One time my brother asked me, how much of Orbit Culture do I wanna listen, because I was listening to their songs whole day, and I just said: YES. Just YES, because these guys are so good that, in my personal opinion, NOBODY does so high quality music these days as Orbit Culture. They are literally amazing!

You guys probably know already or not yet, but the reason why they released an ep so soon is because they wanted to get out of their contract with their label Seek and Strike Records. So the only way to do that was by releasing an unexpected ep. Right now they are free agents and now labels are going to jump and try to sign them. So for them to release new music before the end of the year is a great way to end the year

Sound Of The Bell and The Upheaval were recorded for Descent, and While We Serve was recorded after the album was released and they had come home from tour

The outro to me feels VERY much like Niklas took his Gojira 'Art Of Dying' influence and put a OC twist to it. And thats a good/fun thing in my books. Its VERY Gojira to me.

From this new Orbit Culture EP 'While We Serve'was written after the Avatar tour but the other songs where supposed to be bonustracks on Descent including this song 'Sound of the Bell 'and 'The Upheavel'. They finished their deal with Seek & Strike and will not work with them on future releases

Now this is right up my alley, I love these long progressive songs that are structured like this. Progressive Thrash Metal is my favorite genre, I definitely hear some Thrash and Groove Metal in there. Do these guys have more songs like this?

Their other long epic is called A Sailor’s Tale, on their Shaman EP. It isn’t as dark as this one, but it’s structured in a similar way with the ebbs and flows. Other than that, check out Behold and The Shadowing. Nensha is another good one, but it’s progressive in a different way, with a bunch of crazy subdivisions.

Fantastic job by Riivata Visuals again👌 (Highly recommend checking out their band, Atlas, as well - songs like Uhri or Ukko for example) Imo this ep has somewhat different theme and feel compared to the album so I kinda get it why they wanted them separate. Great stuff anyways.

I'll be homest, Descent for me was mostly an ok to slightly boring album. So im really surprised that they pulled my interest so hard with this one. Still not a fan of the super compressed, loud thing they have going on, but it does serve a purpose here, and doesnt manage to get tiring

It definitely feels like a B-side. If they planned it for the album I feel like they would have worked on it a little more. Cool track, but not interesting enough for 8 minutes.
