Samsung s24: ufs 4.0 vs 3.1, cheaper, also 7 y. updates, more powerfool procesor, tele photo camera. For me easy choice. Fantastic review, congratulation 😊

My s23 has terrible ultra wide/tele photos and also no damn macro mode on the ultra wide... There was no other normal phone size in the premium segment, but the pixel changes it in all the right places for me! Seriously waiting for a price drop since my s23 is still in good shape.

C'mon man... it's SILLY to tell people to wait until the Pixel 9 is under 700 Euros. People have different wants, needs and budgets. Why not just tell them about the phone, good and bad, and let them decide? I would never tell anyone to buy or not. If someone likes it, let them buy it. If they don't like it, then don't buy it. Other than that, this was a great and entertaining review. Thank you.

The pro model has a better front-facing camera with more megapixels. the screen has LTPO and gets brighter, and of course it has 16gb or RAM for faster AI processing . I think that kinda justfies the higher price of the pro

No UFS 4 after it's been out for 1 and a half years is already a no, with that price tag it's a big no. Tensor isn't that trash this time and the features and hardware is pretty good. However, if you're not American check the features availability (there's actually a website that shows you) and for instance in Italy Studio, Screenshots and Gemini Live aren't available and they're literally the main new features without counting the previews years ones that are still not available. Maybe they don't want to eat sales from their big frenemies (Samsung for instance) and that would be understandablebut still...

Great review, as always-top-notch in script, visuals, and audio. Regarding the Pixel, I honestly can’t comment much. For example, Pixel phones didn’t even connect to 5G here in Brazil. Samsung has clear advantages, and Apple offers strong native support and easy purchasing options. I don't see much appeal in the Pixel. What bothers me is that it’s only available in wealthy regions. If it were limited to the U.S., like some Chinese devices are in China, that would make sense. But selling mostly in rich areas seems contradictory for a company that promotes inclusivity, as Google did at I/O when highlighting Geminis' 46 language support.

the charging speed isn't a problem since the phone battery lasts all day. faster charging reduces the battery's life anyway.

Great advice. At launch prices all the pixel 9 models are too expensive. Not worth paying this much for a pixel. Most of the AI features are a novelty which will wear off in a few days.

I dont understand pixel pricing in EU compared to the US. Are they focusing on US review giving it a good reputation as quite affordable because the difference in base models is more than 100€. For this money i dont think it is worth it, specialy with how much they loose value in secondary market. Right now i am happy with my pixel 7 (i got it when it came out on preorder deal from UK for 680€ with buds pro which i think i a good deal. I will wait for pixel 10 since i heard about TSMC making the chip for it and now samsung and maybe by then i can get a used pixel 9 pro for 500€. will see

Pixel 9 is 10times better looking than iphone. Also smarter than iphone in terms of AI, Assistant etc. Pixel Camera is the star of the show! But lacks a bit in raw performance. 👍🏻

Google is strangely the only manufacturer that is allowed to copy the design of iPhones without it shocking anyone, but above all to sell smartphones at high-end prices ($800 to more than $1000) with a mid-range processor (even Apple 🍏 doesn't have this privilege) 🤔 And every time I see this standard Pixel 9, I can't get it out of my head that it's just a Pixel 8 Pro in a new chassis and a compact size, but mostly without the 5X zoom sensor and without the Pro Camera 📸 features 🤔 And as much as I can't justify the iPhone 15 with its 60 hertz screen in 2024, I can't justify this Pixel 9 at its price with its processor at the level of processors dating back 3 years (8 Gen 1 / 8+ Gen 1 / A14) . And for me, iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max and S23 / S23 Plus are currently much better deals than both smartphones I mentioned above, especially the S23 Plus whose size (unlike the standard S23 and iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max) is much closer to that of the standard Pixel 9. 🙏🏽
