Yeah it's kinda pain the ass when you have to find charging spots (especially when your powerbank is already running out of juice) when you travel to somewhere like a market which is near impossible to find

Dude... Bad battery life means that you need to charge more than once in a day, count the average time you use the battery a lot in a year. Which leads to decreasing significantly the battery life as a whole. By the second year it should drop even more 😂​@@Jo5ue1

The Pixel 9 has a 33% larger battery than the iPhone 16, so it's no surprise that it performed better. Even Apple's optimizations won't be able to make up for that. I always say that smaller phones are suitable for light users who use their phones for 3-5 hours of screen-on time (SOT). In that case, both phones would be more than enough. Of course, this was an intensive test involving video and photos, so it doesn't reflect the usage of the average user, who would probably get 20-30% more SOT doing more typical tasks. There are trade-offs. The Pixel 9 has a larger battery, but its chip will likely show its age in 2-3 years compared to the iPhone. This decision is up to the individual, but you can replace a battery; you can't replace a chip. Additionally, I carry a Magsafe smart battery pack that I attach when I'm not using the phone, and it gives me an extra 50% battery on the iPhone and 30% on the Pixel. I no longer prefer photos in daylight. All flagships are great, and with tweaks or in-post, you can get them as you like. I mostly have 75%/25% video/photos, so video recording is more important, but that is subjective. I would say both are solid choices, along with the S24, and it really is down to personal choices, as none are perfect.

I own a pixel and an iPhone. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. I often find myself preferring my iPhone photos . The pixel photos are excellent, yet somehow boring. Pixels also override adjustments made using the EV and shadow sliders with their processing rendering these sliders pretty useless. My iPhone doesn't override anything when using the EV slider - what you see on the screen is what you get , unlike pixels

I personally think it's terrible. I use the EV slider to make adjustments to photos , but the post processing completely overrides my adjustments, making these sliders pretty useless . The photo looks good on the display, but terrible post processing - nothing like the scene I was looking at . I also own an iPhone, the camera interface is much more polished, plus no heavy post processing, as in what you see on the display is what you get . Dynamic range is slightly better on the pixel, when it's not over processing ☺️

@@Jo5ue1 on my old iphone 13 the colors looked exactly like in reality. I suspect the software can't adjust perfectly for different hardware. So luck might have a factor on how accurate the colors are.
