There brain emotionaly is way bigger than ours so I think tho they will be mad they will understand that most of us feel regret and want pure peace with them like you I've been obsessed with orcas since I was very very little at the age of 3 I started memeroize the many diffrient animal species in the open seas and for some reason to this day I tend to take in WAY MORE INFORMATION BOUT THE ORCA THEN ANY OTHER ANIMALmy theory is that it'd my passion and love for these creatures that gave me and still gives me this ability to gather information about orcas faster than any other animal plus like you I also know a lot about them and truly from the heart tho there have been very very small reports of orcas getting frustrated but from what I can take in none lethal in the wild I WHOLE HEARTLY BELIVE THAT THEY KNOW that most of us do want peace with them I love these creature and it's my life goal to one day swim with them and if live long enough show my kids this buteaful and and I love these magnificent buteaful animals🐳🐋🐋🐋🐋💙💙💙💙💙

I saw this movie a long time ago and even though it was quite a while ago I still remember parts of it like when that creep killed the orca's life partner and their unborn baby and a real creep would do like what he done to the mother and the baby and I don't blame the male orca one bit wanting revenge on him, killing his mate and baby, he deserved to be killed like all monsters like him and I was glad that he got killed at the end but I also glad that the woman with him wasn't harmed cause I mean she didn't do anything to anyone or anything so why should she die or be harmed in anyway after the orca got his revenge on the one who killed his mate and baby he swam away. I know how and where to get this movie and I'm going to get it sooner or later on DVD.

Its both good and sad. The 2 whales used in the film (yaka and Nepo) were violently captured in 1969. Nepo died in 1980 from unknown causes and Yaka from a fungal lung infection in 1997. They lost their lives so young as a result of the industry.

Just because it was made to cash in on Jaws and uses aquatic animals as a monster doesn't mean it's a rip off. Orca is a reverse Moby Dick where the whale is seeking revenge on the Captain Ahab. Also this film was more character driven as well (not to say Jaws didn't have character development, but this film's focus was on the madness that builds on Orca and the whalers eventually having to face his punishment)

Still feels weird that wild Orcas haven't thought of hunting us . Yet. I mean, they hunt fricking Moose when the latter are in the water, and those chonk deer can swim well by birth. We are nowhere near as capable in the water, and Orcas literally let divers hang out around them and try to play with them ( which is also something they do with their prey, but that kind really hurts, and the ones they do with us is more like ' Bubble blasters , ride along mate ', etc. )

I was 5 years old when I saw this movie my sister's rented it out after it came out on VIDEO we all witched it together all eight of us when the female orca got killed and they hang her up on the hook Five to 10 minutes Later the baby whale popped out and after that the father to the baby whale won'ted Revenge and Revenge he got it but the only one the whale didn't harm was the woman on the boat and after the whale did what he had to like sinking the boat but the whale pushed a block of ice so the woman can hop on to it safely before sinking the boat with its Mighty strength and what made my sister's cry after one of my sisters holding me so tight the Killer whale popped his head out from the ice cold water and looked at the Woman on the ice he left alone and began to (CRY) and at the same time my sister's began to cry too this is one of the first Movie i ever seen at a very young age and I'm so so glad my sister's were with me at the time since then my sister Never let me out of there sight not even for a second I'll Cherish these moments for a lifetime.

Everybody loves to call this a Jaws knockoff. I never understood why?? Two totally different stories here. Jaws was a "killer shark" who ran on pure instinct. This film, on the other hand, had so much more real emotion. It had honest mistakes. It showed a man's desperation as well as the whale's desperation. It showed that deep down, both Nolan and the orca were basically the same being mirroring eachother. I thought that might be relevant.

I can't remember where, but I read after the success of Jaws' killer animal movies started coming out left and right. One studio wanted to dethrone Jaws as the king of animal horror, so they came up with Orca the Killer whale. It's no coincidence that one of the first scenes is the orca killing a great white shark and the scientists' lady claiming, "Only one animal in the world can that." It's kind of messed up. The guy the orca saves from the great white he kills later.

It’s certainly better than Jaws 3 & 4! The first 2 were fantastic I won’t lie however I absolutely love this 🎞 too! And if I had to pick which one to watch 1st & last it would be Orca! 🖤🤍
