Orca Slicer / Bambu Studio - Adjust first layer after interface layer from stringy to smooth

If you have ever printed with supports, and support filaments, you know the first layer after the support interfaces is alfa omega to have a nice looking print.
In this video I will give you tips on how to adjust the quality and smoothness of that first layer AFTER the interface layers, so the supported part also look as smooth as the top surface.

does this only work with a secondary material as a support material ? will pla to pla produce the same results.

No. PLA to PLA will fuse. Petg printed against pla or pla printed against petg will allow easy removal. Basically the objects filament will rest on the other without sticking because the two materials have another chemical composition preventing them from sticking together. which is why you never should print with flush to infill or supports when you use these two filament types.
