There are a handful of brands that make Fluoro lights. They're normally floodlights for photography like this OrcaTorch. My mind goes to the SeaLife SeaDragon range, Light&Motion make the NightSea which I think used to make a yellow lens to go over your mask and BigBlue make a handful of fluoro lights I think. They're quite niche so you don't see that many on the market but, they are cool to play with...

#askmark What’s this like for still photo use? What sort of light would you recommend for using with a canon g7xiii with the intention of doing both video & still footage. I’ve had issues recently in uk waters of backscatter when using a video light. Cheers

#askmark The D710V comes with a ZJ18 ball mount with an orange rubber grommet, if you buy the ZJ18 separately you get a yellow grommet which is slightly smaller, so a D710 won’t fit without forcing it. Does Orcatorch intend to make the orange grommet version available to buy separately?

Hello Raving,thanks for your information,here is OrcaTorch. You're right,we previously had ZJ18 mount with yellow rubber grommet. But when D710V comes out,we reduced the thickness of inside rubber and changed it to orange one,thus it could fit for both D710 and D710V. We're sorry that there might be some old-version stocks at some points of sales if you buy seperately. Have you already got a yellow ZJ18?

@ORCATORCHWorldwide yes, unfortunately the ZJ18 I bought had the yellow grommet which doesn't fit as I'd like.

Hi Mark, A couple of comments, I've found that the bolts all suffer surface corrosion pretty early, so before use a good application of silicone grease for protection is essential. Also with Go Pro mount, it keeps a lot of water inside it, so it's really important to strip all of the components down when you get home and flush / soak with fresh water, and again lubricate all surfaces with silicone grease. The torch itself is very good and has a nice wide cover, but I'd recommend 2 for video. The Orcatorch Tray is good and reliable. Overall I'd give it an 8/10.
