Pet Shops only did one cracking album (and even THAT had 'Go West' on it) and was done almost 30 years ago, and one of their last singles 'The Pop Kids' was a deplorable bit of cheesy and arrogant bit of repellent bosh! Best last single was probably 'Love etc.' They are a good singles act, as many were from the 80s, but albums no. New Order better, but again not with albums. OMD are different to that, but they're not alone as other undersung people like Kim Wilde, Sandra, Alphaville, A-ha, Bangles, China Crisis, Natasha England, T'Pau and Toyah Willcox are still brilliant when they get the chance to release anything new and so are Duran Duran. Depeche Mode, on the other hand, are not.

Saw them live in March 2018 including Martin Cooper and they put on a fantastic show! See them! They're hardworking musicians with real integrity crafting clever musical gems, a great mix of pop and substance. Punishment of Luxury is a superb album that honors the past while reflecting the present and looking to the future.

This track is an OMD classic, great vocals & rhythm, solid bass. My second thought, (no pun intended), after my first was I wonder if they had the seven deadly sins, pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth on backing vocals. OMD have another hit in the bag. Anyone head the album?. As Kraftwerk fan of 30 years, I Agree with the previous comments. The 2013 album track "Metro land", sounds like the Kraftwerk track "Europe Endless".
