Some vst libraries (those on the more inexpensive side) don’t have dedicated run articulations and that makes it difficult to get a nice sound with regular sustain patches alone. Do you have any tips for a cleaner sound, or is it something we just hope won’t be too obvious in the mix lol

I made this video tutorial because most dedicated orchestral run libraries only offer basic scales, and if you're looking for something more unique, you often need to create a custom solution that fits your music. Every library has its limitations, and while legato patches may not be ideal for runs, they can still sound fine in a full mix. The Berlin Woodwinds library, for example, has a patch for playable runs, but it's still not perfect-and, of course, it comes with a high price tag (around $600). Higher-end libraries like Cinematic Studio Strings, Berlin Strings, and Berlin Woodwinds generally perform better, though I understand that not all musicians can afford them. Thanks for your comment!
