This video is really pure gold! I enjoy listening to score music but I had no idea which instruments make which sounds. Now I finally have a general understanding. Thank you!

Excellent as usual!! I am struggling with my music. I did a course with the Open University in the UK and bought VI instruments and Synchron Instruments. I have created a large number of melodies but I have never made a full orchestral piece. I have been sick for the last 24 years and I have been trying hard to make my life as good as possible but I need some help. Your videos are great and they really inspire me. I hope I will be able to make my melodies into a full orchestral piece one day. Thanks a lot for your time, you're a good man.

Thanks a bunch Marc! Which orchestral library are you using in this video? I guess CB stands for CineBrass, and then CSS is Cinematic Studio Strings? And which reverb are you using? Sorry for all my questions. 🙂
@CinematicComposing Жыл бұрын
Hey Steph, thanks for watching. That's correct! I use both of them :) Here's the full list of libraries I use, hope it helps! composinghacks.com/ PS: I use various plugins for reverbs, mainly B2 from 2CAudio and Altiverb. There's a reverb video coming in a few weeks, stay tuned!

What do you about the lowend rumble present from recording in nearly all libraries? Sometimes if i low cut them you can still hear them in stereo so you would need to cut a lot more from the original sound.
