Thank you so much for your videos Amanda. I’m always excited when you put a video. You’re a very good teacher. I watched so many videos on how to do the chevron stitch and I didn’t understand how it worked. I kept looking and that’s how I found you, because of you I learned it. It’s just how you explain things. I just love the chevron stitch and it seemed very complicated. I watched your video and 10 blankets later. I have been here watching for years.

Wow you just made my day! 🥰 thank you so much for supporting my channel and becoming inspired by new tutorials. I’m so glad you were able to understand the chevron stitch. It can be tricky at first, but once you get it, it’s addictive! I love chevrons! Have a great day 😊

I love how easy and how delicate your blanket looks! Thanks for explaining how to do an even border around the edge of the blanket. I have been crocheting for years but have never had it explained like this! Thank you so much!❤

You’re very welcome and glad it was helpful! Borders can be tricky, so I wanted to try and make it easy as possible. 😊

Love your tutorials. It’s easy to follow and I love the patterns. For a guy who only started about 4 years ago, your tutorials make it easy. I’ve made a couple blankets, several hot pads and I used the chevron pattern to make a scarf.

Hi! I'm following your video and counting stitches and my blanket looks like a rhombus instead of a rectangle. What do I do?? I've spent so many hours on this and restarted 5 times I don't want to pull it all out now that I'm so far but idk what to do!
@AmandaCrochetsАй бұрын
I highly suggest using stitch markers for the very first and last stitch of each row. I would also check your tension. Having the stitch markers should help though if you’re skipping stitches. Hope that helps!
@mmv2024Ай бұрын
@AmandaCrochets I have stitches markers in the first and last stitches and also every 20 stitches the whole way across. I know I'm not dropping/skipping stitches, but somehow everything is shifting. I am new to crochet (I've been knitting for years) so maybe I'm just not keeping consistent tension. I'm wondering if blocking will be able to fix it at the end.
@AmandaCrochetsАй бұрын
@ it’s possible you’re not keeping even tension. I don’t knit very often and I noticed that with my first few projects. The start of the project was loose and as I worked more rows it got tighter. I’m sorry this is happening to you. Keep practicing and your tension should get much better 😊

Gorgeous! Love it! Im an advanced beginner probably higher than that. Lol! I have learned so many different stitches! ❤❤

Thank you! Learning different stitches is so fun, especially if you can combine them like I did in this pattern. :)

You need to presume everybody knows single and double crochet when you start a project otherwise it takes too long to school them
@Oceangirl_5055 ай бұрын
I respectfully disagree. She is kind, helpful and teaches her viewers. You can skip over the part you already know. I hope that you have a better day.

My channel has always been about teaching beginners how to crochet easy projects. This is why I always demonstrate how to make the stitches at the beginning. If you already know how to make the stitches, you are welcome to skip that part of the video or get the free pattern on my website.
