Orchidomania Presents: The Singapore Orchid Haul

I came back from Singapore...where I visited a whole bunch of plant related points of interest such as Gardens by the Bay, National Botanical Gardens, Toh Garden...all of which I will take you along in the coming weeks. But first II want to share some of the treasures I brought back.

Thank you 😊 It is luxuriantly green! 💚However the orchids tend to be just cut orchids - vanda/dendrobium/phals...It seems the motherload is in Thailand based on what the Singaporeans say 😉 If you like the post cards they are from Kew Gardens in England...maybe you can order them online? Welcome back! You were missed. A trip to Singapore sounds like a great vacation. The packaged orchid reminds me of the venus flytraps that you buy all packeged in see through plastic cups. Looking forward to your other vids.

Thanks ☺ It's very green and luxuriant! Although, I must say that even if there are orchids everywhere they tend to be cut flowers ...so phals and dendrobiums and vandas. Bulbophyllums and the really exotic orchids from what I've been told seem to be in Thailand. Everywhere I asked ...all the in vitro plants you find for sale are from Thailand. the red plumerias are beautiful, and they smell great! I picked up a small pink/yellow/white seedling from my college's farm store :)

Thanks 😊 But having been there now I can say that it is a plant paradise...lots of orchids too but mostly cut flowers. Singaporeans say Thailand is the orchid paradise! Thanks for visiting 🌼🌺🌻

great stuff..:) i would glue those postcards to a wall, like wallpaper..:) some gifted me a plumaria stick ones, it took lots of weeks but finally it flowered..:D awesome smell
