@@leonkopitzki495 They were probably talking about the rumors going on at the time about what would eventually be revealed as the movie Lelouch of the Resurrection, though there seems to be an announcement for some new Code Geass material called Z of the Recapture, but I don't know what the story will be about or even if it will be a sequel for the series or Resurrection.

Yeah the new movie comes along with a trilogy of recap movies that exist in their own alternate universe. Meaning you have to watch the recap films as there are things that are different from the original story.
