MARK DODGE DEALERSHIP IS GREAT. When all my local SC RAM/Jeep dealers wanted $5K over sticker for a fairly loaded Jeep Rubicon unlimited back in late 2021…I order one from Mark Dodge (2022 model year), in October of 2021. They offered us $7K off sticker. Additional cost of $700 to ship to our home. Glad you found them Tim

That’s insane that a dealer does those types of discounts right off the top! If you didn’t get the Level 1 package, it’d be CHEAPER than a Tacoma TRD Pro or Trailhunter! Thats insane! I’m a Toyota enthusiast, but the new Tacoma is a let down due to the price. I’m not a Dodge guy, but the RHO is intriguing.

Well I'm still getting the trailhunter. I figure if I get an TRD offroad and add after market suspension, tires, skid plates, bumper, snorkel, rock slider, and air compressor it would come out to about the same price.

Brad, Thanks for your comments on the TRX, agreed. I was at the RAM dealer yesterday, TRX with sticker of $125,000, the salesman said they had a an additional $30,000 on top of the sticker. He began to elaborate that this was going to be collectors truck with the new Hurricane coming. I smiled, thanked him for his opinion, and left. 😅

Thats a sick deal, and you're a fool to buy a big horn for the same price. You were a fool to buy a big horn for $72k anyways haha. A loaded up RHO for $74k is an insane deal. I'd buy one for that right now.

I just bought a 2024 ram 1500 limited night edition from them back in march. I did the whole buying process over the phone and computer since I live in New Jersey and I have to say ALL of the staff I have talked to have been excellent. BEST dealership experience I could have asked for!

almost ordered 2 from them couple of years ago, even during crazy ADM era they were well below MSRP......was quoted 11k off a Laramie 2500 built to order when local southern california dealers wanted 5-10k over......highest volume in country I think.......found them on Ram forum no bs straight to point, similar to Laura in Missouri/Illinois for GMC if everyone did their research they wouldnt complain about car dealerships.......deals are there just have to find them

EXCELLENT DECISION, Tim!!! We've not had a hardcore 4WD on the channel, and the RHO is highly anticipated! And we know you with your sell informed journalism will be a great resource during your ownership. And then there is the matter of pricing: Who knew the RHO would be the best overall value of the hardcore 4x4s in the clsss!? This truck stops where Raptors begin. The ZR2 and AT4X are all more expensive.

Tim, I’m very happy for you and I think you made a great decision. I was a little concerned after your last video where you seemed unsure given the wait. I’m glad you stayed with Ram, and the RHO just seems like a fun truck and I’ll be watching all your Ram content. I’m leaning toward the Ram and would like to hear your real life reviews with the truck. I didn’t hear the split tail gate, I was looking forward to usage reviews, like you could show how easy it is to load unload home supplies, bales of hay :), and other items that you would normally have to climb up in the bed to push forward to secure. Congrats Tim!

Sounds like you made the right choice with the RHO. It’s crazy that some dealerships will mark down a vehicle $10k off invoice and other dealerships act like if you’re getting a vehicle below MSRP you’re taking food off their plate

Great choice Tim! This should play well for you and gather some views. Many will tune in to something different and beyond what they have just to be able to see if this option or that is worth it on their next purchase. Yeah, this may not be the biggest seller, but it'll be viewed more than a stripped entry level model. And good call using Mark Dodge. They are well known in the Ram community. I used a similar high-volume, low -price dealer in Maryland.

I think it is.a smart move, specially when RAM had soo many quality issues lately will be good to see if they have improved on the new GEN, I friend of mined had two Lemon in the row and now on his 3rd ram 1500 fully loaded he still have problems. Sounds like a good move for your channel. Personally I would never touch a Stilantis product but for your channel it makes perfect sense. Looking forward to your content. Hopefully Stilantis will still be in business when you come to sell your test vehicle. Or better yet maybe someone who knows how to run a company purchases the Ram line from Stilantis and saves it.

Great choice! Crazy that a big horn is over 70K. I’ve got a 2021 Ram 1500 classic Warlock and absolutely love it. Really curious on how the RHO tows as it’s pretty much the same towing specs as my truck, but a lot more power.

Very good choice . I like the white as well . Black is my favorite, but back country roads and off roading don’t go well with black . I’ve been dreaming of a new truck for months . Can’t wait to order mine . Either RHO , Powerwagon, or loaded bighorn 1500 or 2500 if prices ,on 2500 stay down . Tim… I think you did the right thing. I am historically not a Ram fan but that truck is sweet and will generate more channel content than the Bighorn. I personally really like the color combo you chose but I have heard that combo isn’t as flashy and doesn’t draw as much attention on YT. As always … great content and very informative. Mark dodge is great! I bought a 2022 TRX from them and got 11k off list. Looking tontrade that in on a limited which they will give 12.5% off msrp on a ordered truck which equates to around 9-10k. I wont buy another ram unless its from mark dodge

I have had my TRX for 3 years and love it, it’s a great truck. Mine TRX is white also have the pano roof and hood decals. Not crazy about the 6 banger in the RHO, but love the rest of the truck, I 100% think you did the right thing in changing your order to the RHO, just so much more truck for the money then the bighorn. At 72k I thought you were talking longhorn , that is crazy you can spec a 1500 bighorn up that high. I do think a lot of these companies learned a few things from the market collapse in 2008, after 2008 it became one big rebate marketing game, 10k off sticker was common place. I think the now days mfg purposely over price their MSRP just to be ready to pay for the big rebates and now days a very pricey interest rate buy down, which on a 60k truck could cost a mfg 12-15k to buy it down to offer a 0% promo. I just see a lot of current and future escalation of marketing scenarios built into today’s pricing. Plus factor in the how upside down so many potential customers are in their trades as the used market has really soften up and many people paid way to much for vehicles bought 2021-2023.

Sounds great, note that if you had that dealer spec out the Big Horn the way you had it from your local guy they'd probably be able to take the same $10k or whatever it was off, right? So the RHO is really about $12k more than your Big Horn could have been. Big Horn is great but not with that many options, kind of defeats the point - although RAM did raise the price significantly over the last few years so even a base model isn't a great "value" anymore...

I have a 2021 Ram TRX with Level 2 and all the extra except the Rambar. I have had mine for 3 years and it has 90k miles on as I use it for work and i live on the road over 3 states. I do tow with mine a lot and pull around 4k lbs. This truck actually tows fantastic considering its not built for it. I avg in mine 11 mpg towing and 14.5 to 15 mpg no trailer cruising. Congrats on your RHO. Monday I pick up my 2024 F350 Platinum Tremor Glacier Grey with the 6.7 HO Diesel... This will become my work truck and the TRX will be parked for awhile. Atleast I got my TRX when I paid 93k loaded instead of 117k for almost the same truck...

Dave Smith motors in Kellog Idaho is Rams largest dealer and offers far below msrp pricing. Dennis Dillon in Boise offers similar pricing..

when i bought my new 21 ram limited the dealer told me not all dealers are allowed to do major discounts. when i was shopping around no other dealer discounted except the one i did business with. almost $10k off plus 0%. even the salesman said ram usually won't give a discount and 0%
