@@DerekDavis213 The decision ultimately comes down to price vs wanting latest changes. Deals for inventory MYs might get better throughout the year so if you're able to save like $10k-$20k+ on the current MY, then that could be worth it rather than waiting for the new one. Remember that the new one will NOT have any incentives (maybe will have federal tax credit if that's still around) so it will be regular MSRP and will most likely have multiple price increases in a short amount of time once released.

Welcome to the Model Y family :) Don't forget to be financially responsible and not blow the saved money on like, a boat or something. You can make a lot of gains with interest rate arbitrage, just put the money you'd have spent towards the Y in an HYSA or something and set up autopay, you'll get paid for the interest rate difference. Lots of HYSAs do 4.5% or better.

I saw the deal last week, we did demo drive last Sunday. Told the rep what configuration we wanted, they had one on the lot brand new. We bought it, picked it up yesterday in the 0.99% club
