Any idea what this 40th Anniversary XL2 cost back when they first came out? I inherited an XL2 from my mother. It was made in March of '03.

Probably barking up around $200 (at least in 2003) give or take when they were new, though they were greatly overpriced, even brand new.

I ran across and infomercial with David Oreck offering this package deal where you get the upright vacuum cleaner, the canister vac with attachments, and the Oreck iron. My mother must have gone for that deal. I ALSO have the Oreck iron. I wondered when Oreck got into the iron business. Now I know how that happened.
