These are C models, not Strike Eagles. The Air Guard never received E models, at all.

Right? I was at an airshow today in Seattle and I literally couldn't hear an F-35 over their PA system.

Yet they're still in operation because nothing can match their abilities, same way the B52 is kept flying and now having its life extended by new upgrades (engines,avionics)
