Another fun E&S adventure! We enjoyed it but, to be honest, we were looking forward to seeing fish tacos! ;) Quite the tease.

True, I should have tried harder for a shot of those! We did get a picture (inside the camper), I will update our blog post with it! It gets dark so early in the fall that the cooking part of the videos is a challenge to shoot.

Boise is just up the hill from me! I will have to check it out, I like Ophir Beach, it is a 45 min drive for me, Crissy Field has a slightly protected beach that is fishable in ugly weather, you cannot fish any farther South, you will be in Californistan...

BTW, on those jetties, use a poke pole and go on a high tide, stay off the lower slippery rocks.

We stopped at Neskia, not far from Ophir and caught one or two there, nice beach, we were nearly the only ones there over a few hours. Yes, we liked Boice Cope, it's just far enough off 101 to feel a bit out of the way. They have a day use charge (you might have a permit living there) but it looked like the locals just park up the road a few yards. We had a couple of miles of our own beach while we were there!

Good advice! We ended up at Yaquina at low(er) tide, and with the larger rocks of that jetty and the distance to the water we ended up giving up, it seemed too risky.
