Found the time to visit Oregon's South Coast for a rockhounding adventure and came home with some great rocks.
Otter Point is my favorite beach to visit and I hope you have a chance to visit the area sometime soon.
Make sure to stop by the Indian Creek Cafe for a great breakfast ^^

Perfect toming to release a video, buddy! I enjoyed watching as I prepared and ate my dinner. Roll up them pants, take the boots off and go after them rocks! Show off them rockhounding legs, lol! I bet them waves are enough to knock you over or sweep you off your feet. Really neat hook/anchor thingee on the beach. Cute lil crabby guy looking for a home you found. I see you found a clue to One Eyed Willys treasure too! I just love seeing rocks with holes and ones that have marks where pebbles have been wearing away on them. Really awesome topography there. I can definitely see why you love it!! Killer aerial views, man! Just absolutely stunning the beauty of that area. Great selection of rocks and minerals. Really cool quartz and hematite ones. Some cool limonite staining on some, too. Sweet agates, especially that one that looked like it might have waterline in the center if you cut it open! Really nice green ones. That large deep red one almost looked wine colored. Really cool brecciated piece of jasper. And the blue/black agates are cool. I have one that Karen gifted me tumbling now. Fantastic video, bro! I hope you don't lose your passion for making videos. There's a ton of rockhounding channels out there. And many are cookie cutter, trying to hard to catch my attention, or just aren't that good. Not that many are able to set themselves apart. I like how you chat it up. Like you suggested to me a while back. There are only a few channels that inspire me. I know for a fact your a great dood. Your genuine and sincere and aren't hokey at all. Your videos have always been done very well. I meant it when I said your my favorite rockhounding channel. I look forward to and get excited to watch every video! I will send ya some support very soon and show some love. Take care, bro!

Bro, youre so kind. I really appreciate you man and look forward to the next time we can hang out. I'll have to take you to this beach man, tons of great stuff. Funny part is, during the summer the oregon beaches are covered in sand so winter time there is like 2x times more cobble. Thats when you find all the good stuff. Gold can be found in those black sands too man. Youre so right about all the new rockhounding channels too! The only changes I'll be making is improvements man, I'm always trying to make better videos and not just get more clicks...ya know. Kinda sucks that KZbin has cut my $ and made it harder to get out and make vids but its whatever. Maybe I'll start a Patreon or something, IDK. I just want to be able to make more vids for everyone and not have such big gaps in my posting schedule. I'm sure everything will work out though bro. Oh and Im working on an obsidian vid atm and youre gonna love the stuff I found man, seriously the best Ive ever found ^^ Anyways, thanks for all your support bro, we'll chat soon ^^

Thanks for sharing this location. I visited a few days ago and there was so much great gravel to explore. I found some nice agates but also quite a few nice jaspers and jasp-agates. The trail down was pretty bad with the rain (very mucky and slick) but the rope made all the difference. Great spot and thanks again!

@@evastapaard2462 For every 1,000 views I get on my videos, I get a few dollars for ad revenue. Since the end of spring, the few dollars has turned into a few cents. The ad revenue is what I use for gas money and without it, saving up for rockhounding trips takes much, much longer. Not much I can do about it because I dont want to ask the viewers for monetary help and I dont want to promote products I don't use/trust.

@@evastapaard2462 The stones I find are not sellable b/c they are found on public lands. I have thought about guiding people, but there are liability issues and I just graduated so I am looking for jobs (which takes a lot of time). I'm sure everything will work out soon ^^

Wow! Nice adventure. So many cool rocks to coment on. Wonderful color and designs. Love the egg shaped one with the hole on one side. It reminded me of something should be planted in it and the agate one with the dark blob in it. Reminded me of a petrified Dino egg. 😂 all the bold colors. What a nice escape from the crazy world to the real reality.

Great video! Wonderful drone footage - and I love the sound of pebbles tumbling in the surf! The rocks sure are colorful there and the geologic formatios are fascinating. Was the creature on the beach okay? I've been watching too much Ocean Conservation Namibia where they rescue hundreds of entangled fur seals every year.
