I’m from Germany and I‘ve been to Yellowstone last summer and it was a blast! I also baught a 200-600mm only for that trip and it was so worth it! „Hunting“ a grizzly bear with cubs with other random photographers must have been the best thing that happened. Haven‘t found the time to make something out of the footage yet though… Love the video! Keep it up!

This is a wonderful video and the footage is really good, knowing the limitations of the A73 when using a telephoto lens with that focal length.
@emandnick10 күн бұрын
Thank you!!! It was a learning experience for sure, we had no idea how much even the tiniest amount of wind would shake the footage. I think there’s probably additional software we could use in post to clean it up a bit too, this was just stabilized in Final Cut. Such a cool experience though, it’s nice to try something new and get out of our comfort zone when it comes to photo/video!

Amazing video… Envious… Keep in mind that mid day shot can have a touch of heat blurr from the sun high overhead and wide open field.
@emandnick11 күн бұрын
@@WCIN thank you so much!! I was wondering if it was just the shakes from the wind and trying to stabilize the footage that gave it that blur on some of our really punched in footage, that’s good to know!! Such an incredible experience.

Planning some bucket list trips and came across you guys, loved the video (Marley's howl sold the sub) would love to know your thoughts on the 200-600mm currently have the 70-200mm and the 2x teleconverter and considering the 200-600mm
@emandnick10 күн бұрын
So glad you found us!! We have the 70-200mm and for most of the stuff we like shooting, that lens + the teleconverter is more than enough than we need!! We LOVED the 200-600mm, but really the only situation we would probably use it for is wildlife, and we just haven’t done enough wildlife photography to justify pulling the trigger and buying it! Especially when there’s places that will rent it for so cheap! Although, I will say after this experience we’re both wanting to do more of the wildlife stuff. Do you do a lot of wildlife photography?!
@TheJamietempest8 күн бұрын
@emandnick wildlife is for fun rather than work so that's why it's a harder decision!
@Mrvargas70212 күн бұрын
$40 for a whole weekend? That is a really good price!! I definitely would never buy the 2-600, but renting it is another story.
@emandnick12 күн бұрын
Right?! It was $40 and it was a holiday weekend so we got it for 4 days for that price! Such a steal. We said the same thing, we really don’t have a use for that big of a lens other than wildlife every now and then so renting is for sure the way to go!
