Very Good Job. This will be ideal for the warm Developing countries where it could be made/manufactured even cheaper. Thanks for the post.

"Tomorrow we´ll be building the ELF in cities across the Globe", it´s now 7 years since you said that but when will it happen? I´m waiting impatiently.

What happened was that gas prices continue to be held artificially low with subsidies. If the US drivers paid the full cost of $10.00/gal which includes all environmental damage we would have seen astronomical sales of the ELF and similar vehicles. The problem worsened under Trump. Two EU companies are copying the ELF design.

You might be surprised.I have a Veltop upright bike accessory from France and it's open on the side yet I rarely get wet (only a very little on the outside of my lower legs).I've read that the ELF might have doors or a screen available as a future accessory though being open on the side one likely won't get very wet.

I've been looking a velomobile that is visible on the roads for quite a while and I think I've just hit the jack pot!! Most velomobiles are too low to the ground and they make it harder for motorists to see you. The only draw back I see with this velomobile is that It has no weather protection from the sides. Apart from that, it looks fantastic!

You guys are amazing people! I love seeing intelligent people like you guys take intiative and being the change instead of just talking about it. What exactly is the top speed on the elf?

I have a suggestion. Can we attach 3 car alternators to each of the wheels of ELF and extend the battery pack so that we can use the stored energy while climbing up the hills. Have a nice day.

I was so excited when I watched another video about this, then I googled the price 7 grand ouch! then I found the official webite..now it's $8800 plus! I believe in all its upsides and advantages but the price is insane compared to a used Nissan LEAF you can buy used for the same price in the US as of 2018. either parts cost are too high or profit is too high or it's too labor intensive to assemble, perhaps some of each. You need the Shark Tank experts help to streamline these three and get the retail price down to a more reasonable one. I wish you luck and would buy one at a better price.
@popeyegordon4 жыл бұрын
No. You can not compare this to the purchase of a car which is a never ending money pit of at least $3000/yr and $30,000 every ten years. When an American buys a foreign brand car we stab our neighbors in the back and insult the American worker as a traitor. In ten years of driving your ''LEAF' you would spend 30K on it while ten years of driving the ELF will cost you 3K, a $27,000 difference and the most valuable benefits are not even factored with that - vital daily exercise we all need, and no pollution. My ELF has already saved me $16,000 in year 6, twice what I paid for it. The ELF uses all top quality high performance light weight parts that cost the company $3000 wholesale to buy. Why would they give it away at a loss just to satisfy you, someone who has no idea what they are talking about? You are a car addict - you would not drive the ELF and get rid of your car even if an ELF was given to you free.
