For trophies I took the nameplate off of all his baseball trophies and framed team photos and made a photo album with his team picture and individual picture and put the nameplate with each year. Labeled the team name/year. Great way to keep the nameplate/photos without the bulk of trophies.

To help with the dumping, put little pictures of what goes in each bin on the front. Labels help so much, and pictures work for the kids who can't read.

Hi KIM love this video!! Just a tip in that bookshelf! I have one just like it that I got at a yard sale!! Put the large heavy square chunky books on the very bottom. So 1, they don’t fall down/ land in heads or toes!! (Those heavy board books hurt little toes) 2. The little ones will be able to grab their books easily and if you put the chapter/ reader books, up top. It’ll protect them from baby since their pages are more delicate. I sort the books according to age. ( I have to organize every few weeks but the kids do a good job about putting them back)

Girl, with your organizational skills, you could watch a you tube video on how to install the kits for closet storage. I am a woman, and since my brother didn't come along until much later after me, i was the helper for my parent's and grandparents. I can fix or build pretty much anything, because i did automotive, plumbing, electrical, construction, roofing, and farming. When i was a kid, it was free labor, because i was the remote for the tv, coffee maker, gardener, cook, cleaner, and whatever other job needing done. I think it made me a hard worker, and has saved me thousands being able to fix and build thing's, i even know how to work on late model car's, along with the old one's. Never sell yourself short, because when you believe that you can do something, you can. G-d bless.

I think moving the arts/crafts bin by the table would be smart. Then, build the other trofast and spread out the existing toys. Might help with the dumping out? Also putting the crafts with the toys sends a mixed message to small children.

I got that exact playdoh set from Costco months before Christmas. I ended up turning one of our many 3 tier rolling carts in a hashtag playdoh cart. Most of the little tins of playdoh are away in a closet, but still a lot are on the second shelf. The top shelf has the fancy bigger playdoh tools (like a mixer!?) and all the tools/cookie cutters. and then the bottom shelf has old Melissa & Doug wooden trays like the puzzles come in… but those silicone mats seems great!! But, loving the cart. We store it in a closet and wheel it out to the table/wherever is your ‘playdoh safe’ area

Kim! Put the 3 boxes for a free 1 in a zip bag, in Your purse-while your thinking of it and when you're in your car gettin in ur purse put it in the Glove box! I have a similar bookshelf from wayfair and love it!! It’s so amazing. For the larger books, I have a basket on top with them or just lay them flat on top. It holds so many books. It’s so good!! Everything you did came out so lovely! Thanks for sharing with us!

Love how kim calls her drinks fridge a " mini fridge", where in most of Europe its just a "fridge" lol. The skin care fridges you bought your oldest girls for Xmas are our " mini fridges"!

It “is” a mini fridge here in America..we have full size appliances. Their washers and dryers hold 1 towel at a time. Gotta love it!

Sometimes, I put a cleanser or a spray on my kitchen counter to remind myself to use it up!

for stinky stuff you can try hydrogen peroxide but I use stink bombs from Nature Clean.. made in Canada. especially great for pet messes or musty towels etc.. if really smelly I do 2 soaks first then a sanitary wash. I've also used it in my carpet cleaner when dealing with pet messes, taking it out of the pod and soaking the grains in hot water. love the 80s sitcom theme LOL.

When you showed the plastic bottom for the under-the-cabinet-organizer in the kitchen & was amazed, it reminded me of what I use - the thick plastic cutting board sheets at Dollar Tree (2pks). I got us steel shelving for our basement to store extra food, but couldn't make stacks w/jars & whatnot. So, I grabbed those cutting mats & put them on the shelves themselves, & between rows of cans & jars. Works brilliantly! Love your channel bc I need happy in my days:)

This was a great video! Inspiring :) For crafts, etc I bought big cookie sheet pans from the dollar store (one for each kid) and that is what they play with playdough/slime on. Anything messy and they work great and are cheap! Also good for bead projects, cuz still has a little lip to corral them in.

Wonder Woman today !!!! I love the bookshelf and have one in my classroom at school (teacher here). I'm sure my husband thought the same thing about our Bread Box he bought me for Christmas. It took him 2 hours trying put it together. I love all the goodies. I love organizing like that with bunch of shelves and cabinets etc. I love the book rack really cute he could always put some decals on it or something if you wanna use it for one of the kids rooms. Everything looks really nice you did a great job.

I used my label maker and labeled the bins so my kids know what goes where and not just throw whatever in the bins. It’s helped a ton

OMIGOSH!!! Thats hilarious i have a three tiered rotating bookshelf and two of those trofast towers. Also have them in white with the same bins! My bookshelf isnt on wheels. These are also beside each other in our play area. Soo funny

Good morning Kim! Thanks for keeping me company while I am up far too early with my 8 month old baby. I just got the trofast (just one) for organizing my kiddos toys and let me tell ya, I feel like I got my life together

I'm quiet sentimental. you can make a scrapbook page that or make a shadowbox of it depending how important it is. I have a small tote of my keeps stuff old school papers from grade school etc plus other things like from events/concerts etc . but I also scrapbook and use shadowboxes depending how important things are. awards, childhood stuffies/toys etc etc. I usually take a picture of whether or not if I keep it. I had a ton of awards and ended up just taking a pic and getting rid of most of them.

Yes, this is exactly why I tell friends not to put their ikea furniture in the landfill, but post it on marketplace. There's always people who don't enjoy assembly and prefer to shop already assembled pieces.
