@@aleaciamcintyre3648 had to treat our Elise to an Aussie delicacy lol. I got it from a tiny church ran op shop. It was hanging up on the wall behind the register. She was a mess, I brought her home and soaked her and washed her by hand until she was perfect. Then she hung in the closet for 2 years till I perked up the courage if I could send her to Elise. Tip for the wooden drawers to pull out smoothly! Take out the drawers rub the edges with dry soap also do the same to the "rail" parts and thats it! Loving everything about your new house 🧡💛🩷❤️

9:35 Elise! If you bite a little bit off each end of the Tim Tam biscuit (the chocolate coating) you can dip it into a hot drink and suck up the liquid into the biscuit like a straw, which melts the inside 😊 it happens quickly so you have to put the whole thing in your mouth before it falls apart. It’s delicious. We call it a Tim Tam Slam 😂

bite each end off the Tim tam, put in coffee or tea and suck, the biscuit just melts in your mouth, a kiwi favourite, the garden coming to life is exciting. Having the definite seasons is cool, don't have that so much where I live, no snow and very rare frosts, plenty rain though.

I've been spending my week reorganising and painting my bedroom. Wen I saw everything in your bedroom I nearly had a heart attack. Mine is currently empty apart from the bed. The amount of sorting out, moving things and cleaning ready for new flooring I've done - your bedroom at that moment was too much. Lol. Yours looks good for having your closet organised. I didn't send the package, nor am Australian but the correct way to eat a TimTam is to bite the tip off two opposite corners and use the cookie to suck up a hot beverage like a straw! Trust me.. it gets soft and melty and way tastier. A game changer!

The rail could be cut to any dimension you needed also. You may want a window film in the closet, so the sun doesn't fade your clothes. 💡Smart idea to shift the cupboard behind the door in her master bedroom to make room for a 3rd rail.🚪Behind the door in her WIC is a great spot to hold her ironing board & iron. They have such darling DIY tutorials for vintage looking wall or door racks using cool old door knobs or drawer pulls these days. 😉Maybe it's possible to have a short, narrow shelf rack under the window 🪟 for more 🥿shoes, sunnies🕶, purses👛,🧣winter gear🧤 storage, or hat 👒 boxes. 🤗Like to stow my scarves, headbands, beanies, & belts separately in XXL clear glass gallon lidded canisters (meant for bulk buy items like flour, oats, grains, etc. in the pantry) on a dresser or shelf. She could probably store some those items in quirky colorful vintage kitchen tins too. They keep things corralled, organized, dust free, & attractive in an old fashioned haberdashery retail way. Or, if there's sufficient 📐height under the window, perhaps a low rail for cropped jackets, tops, or trousers (that can be stored by folding over). 🤔Taking advantage of the room's height ↕️ would be wise. Perhaps she can get new custom industrial pipe rails fitted down the road. If she goes to the ceiling, she could do a double rail for shorter 👚 garments. She could use the current rails in her shop or sell to help offset costs for a new one. If this room only gets morning sun🌞, film might NOT be needed on the window 🪟 to protect her clothes👗 from UV glare. OMG I miss TimTam sooooo much! I lived in New Caledonia for a few years (a small island in the Pacific Ocean) and because we were quite close to Australia and New Zealand, we had some of their products in the grocery store and TimTam were my favorite biscuits! Especially the chocolate and caramel ❤ Now I am back in France and we also have great biscuits but TimTam are linked to great memories in my heart

You know what would look cute is if you could find some vintage hooks and make a little hat wall to hang your hats but also like a little display too. Or even some of those wooden vintage hat heads you could put on the window ledge and display a hat & scarf maybe.

💙Love pegboards & hooks that you can use to hang pieces 🧥👔👕👖 you're currently experimenting with as a "staging area." Or, just as a temporary spot to stow things that you're not quite done with wearing yet. 😉When I come home🏡 , I like to swap to more loungey gear. If I'm planning to go out again〰️& reuse my earlier outfit〰️it's nice to have a neat landing for them. 👒 Plus, they have old-fashioned double hooks for hat on top, & another for your coat too. 🧢A grid for hats on the wall can be very architectural👍. Sadly, I live in a 🌬dusty area. I prefer to keep my chapeaus in hatboxes or tucked under glass. 🧐If you want a haberdashery look, you can also make DIY HAT FORMS out of cool vintage lighting. Remove the wiring out of old wooden, porcelain, or glass table lamps, but leave the socket. You can use that piece as a "pedestal base support" for your hat. Spray paint or use rub & puff to paint the socket to match the other metallics in your room or the secondary piece you find to complete it. Next, you need something to serve as a petite pedestal for the hat to rest upon. Maybe a tiny wooden (or plexi-glass) disc from the craft store or hardware. Or, a pretty petite saucer, a small circular tin box (used upside down), or tiny wide lid from a thrift store. If needed, paint the item to match other pieces to look more cohesive & deliberate. Use hot glue or E6000 to affix this piece to where the bulb goes💡. Your hat stows over that & hides the "mechanics" from sight👀 when in use. 😊Bet Elise could source some stunning 70s amber or green colored glass lamps for that very purpose. That would certainly add more bohemian flare. Maybe a matching pair & a smaller or taller lamp to create an interesting trio. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)

Don’t know if you have a reason for the rail you have in the closet, but if you put closet rods up between the walls, one high, one low even in just one side you would be able to hang more clothes. The container store and ikea have good ideas for organizing closets…fun!
