I had a big decluttering project today… I cluttered craft supplies and boy were there a lot! They are part of my job, and they accumulate. I was able to. Bring four garbage bags of fabric scraps another one of yarn plus an entire row of miscellaneous stuff that I put in a pile in front of my house. And my best friend took half a carload for her classroom. it took me seven hours, even though I usually do things a little at a time like you do. It felt good to get it done and now I have to take my son to the zoo tomorrow. He’s 15 so I feel honored that he still wants to go with me. We both love animals. The deer in your yard are adorable.

I enjoy hearing your cheerful voice and stories about your family as you do your cleaning and organizing. When you hung the basket outside by your door it reminded me of when you Stained your door. It looks so nice! I just can't get over how it transformed that door. Especially when you started with that horrible Orange color. Also, I would like to challenge you to try something and videotape it. It's called "slow vacuuming." It's pretty much what it sounds like. First, you do your regular vacuuming with your corded vacuum cleaner. Empty out your canister, and then you go back over that same space that you just vacuumed in super, super, super slow motion back and forth over the whole area. You will be absolutely amazed at how much you don't pick up at your regular speed! I know I tried it and was amazed and horrified! After that, I did slow vacuuming regularly. And I mean so slow it was painful. I don't do it quite as often, but I know when I do it, I will pick up so much more.
@jodidunnmymessylife18479 ай бұрын
Thank you so much Helen 🤗 Yes that orange color was so terrible I was scared 😂 I saw slow vacuuming on another channel, this crazy life, and tried it. It is crazy how much it picks up. I haven’t done it in awhile so thanks for the suggestion ❤️

She everyone that she sees is really nice & pleasant to talk to! Ok, I love your bulbs. I can't wait to see them! Your snapdragons are coming, so cool! Clarke is so cute wanting to go out & play with the deer! You are awesome. Here in Eastern Washington, it's been in the 70's. Im not doing too much. I need to get my pots with flowers in them. Also, I've been working on a roll-up sewing roll for myself & a cosmetic pouch for a family member! I love your laughter & stories about your family. It feels like we're together & chit-chat! Well, have a great week. Thanks for sharing! ♥️☺️🫂🐾🐾✨️

When my tulips, daffodils, hyacinths etc are done blooming in the house I just dig a few holes in the side yard and plant them altogether. Let the leaves absorb the sunshine and die off naturally. I’ve been doing this for over 15 years. In the spring it’s absolutely gorgeous with bouquets of mixed flowers. People stop to take pictures. It’s all bulbs that I used to toss out before I started doing this.

CWD (chronic wasting disease) in deer could be in your area. And when deer share food that is fed to them it makes it easier for it to spread to other deer. know thats one of the big reasons feeding deer in some areas is illegal. Maybe that will help curb the urge to want to feed them. 😂 but i do understand wanting to feed all the animals. 😊 New here and enjoying listening to your banter. Your upbeat and joyful attitude is so refreshing after a long day at work.

Oh my goodness, you have deer right in your backyard! They were so cute with their little tails. Are they an invasive species, that would answer why you can't feed them. Though, feeding wildlife is never a good idea. I have seen kangaroos in my backyard - back in Brisbane in an outer suburb - you don't usually get kangaroos in a more urban built-up setting - though you do get possums!

Hi Jodi 👋yep. Chores take a while. Maybe for hubs, the pillows on the covers are a reaction of something he can CONTROL with all the craziness happening in the world right now!!! He may not even realize that's what it is. Great idea to use towels just for Clarke! Have you put those in a small basket or bucket with the rolled ends sticking out like flower buds? Yep I'd say you missed a bulb but that's ok. Those indoor pots of bulbs can go in the garage until January and then they'll be ready to start their 2 months growth for next year after theve been cold stratified. Daffys look great!!! Candy drawr😂 yep. Having a mini notebook in your purse with measurements of any stuff you want to future organize is a great tip i got from my MIL many years ago. She also had all the bed linen measurements and curtain measurements for every window by room in hers. Then when she found something she liked, she knew right away by checking her little book whether it would work or not. Like the MINI COMPOSITION books at dollar tree or a spiral one. Temps here today are hitting 80*f around 3-4 pm. But in 40s last night. Temps going down for the weekend, too! Deer ... You already feed them all those plants they eat in your garden. Seriously, you see cute, i see dinner on the hoof! Edit. . . Chooping carrots & celery during your vid today. Hopefully going to get oven cleaned tonight or tomorrow. Then it's on to other chores i haven't been able to do for a while. Unfortunately while my number of spoons of energy is larger, the size spoons are smaller. They require quicker break times. Lol
@edieboudreau96379 ай бұрын
Jodi. Tackling my oven. Yours was great compared to mine. Finally got it clean enough that the automatic oven clean feature works. Not sure how well it will do. We will see. Oven cleaning is difficult when you can't do a lot of lifting ( oven door & warming drawer & top of stove) or bending & stretching to get inside it. Unfortunately it's been over 18 months. But today FINALLY. May have extra to do tomorrow. I'll find out in 4 hours when it finishes. Lol. That's my big chores this week. Planted some ginger root in my "raised garden bed"(tote)... Again. Been over 2 years since I've been able to. Just take a piece of ginger root with the whitish eruptions on it and plant it with that part up. Like iris. The entire plant is edible. I usually try to leave 1 piece of root deep in the bin but sometimes it doesn't make it through the winter. Especially when we have multiple up & down extreme temps like this year.
