I made the mistake of using fabric softener when I washed my linen with other (cotton) clothes and they came out less soft :/ is there a way to revert the texture to what it was? for example by washing them again but with vinegar instead of fabric softener?

I would note that he should suggest not putting baking soda and vinegar together sooner in the video. I was trying to do our washer. I did it step by step than the warning came after. My mom wasn't happy about that. Also I'd think you'd clean all the removable parts before you do the inside. We'll see how this goes.

I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner! I missed your comment. To answer your question: Yes, they will shrink in your dryer if you use the regular high temperature to dry your clothes. You should get away with drying them on the low setting, but personally I dry them on a rack or line to be safe.
