This was very helpful. Especially for the beetle. Those pleats were always a problem while precreasing.

Yes but it will definitely be quite a step up and you will need to have good paper for it! But we covered all the structures present in that design! Just make sure to start from the middle!

So when I folded this the sink fold off angle creases deep in the paper didn't match up to the crease pattern exactly but it doesn't matter so long as the visible mountain/valley folds are correct - is that a good way of looking at it?
