that 3 headed dragon CP is mine. but idk if my 2 headed one will look good since the largest paper I have is some solid-colored wrapping paper (60x60cm) which has a pretty high gsm thickness for a model of this complexity. but I think just folding it will help me for later things like ryujin 2.1 and such

Yes, this fold can be like a practice! But if you are careful, I think that size paper can get an ok result.

It can, but some starches might attract animals

Do you think parchment paper would work for this model? It’s thin and I was able to fold robert lang’s stag beetle from a sheet.

It will work but wont be the best option for shaping

Color side up if your paper has two colors... however.. if you are using duo color paper, you paper is probably not the right kind for this design.

I designed it with mono colored paper and there is no intentional color change. I wouldn't advise using duo.

hi boice, which paper would you think would be better for my skill level? I have folded the Mantis Shrimp by audrey ermakov, so do you think that 50x50cm kraft paper or 100x100cm is better? (also btw kraft paper is around 30 gsm thick)

50cm kraft will make a really tiny dragon, so I recommend using 100cm so that it will look grand and cool. It won't be too too larger either

Doing the precreases on your own is the prerequisite for this tutorial. If you can't do them yet, the rest of the tutorial will be too difficult. Make sure to watch my Crease pattern class (link in the description) to practice doing precreasing and other techniques!

I want to ask how can I cut square without folds and how can I fold the paper into thirds without any unrequired crease

For cutting a square: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rnjPgqqChKidq9E For folding into thirds, you will always need reference creases to make it perfect, but you can crease them very small or lightly so they wont show later @@BhaskarAmte-o1l

Ara Ara already has a tutorial! Denji tutorial would be harder to make than this dragon, but the teeth in this tutorial is similar to the chainsaws.
