Great videos!! You must check your inner cover for the queen before you put it on the ground. If she where on there, your hive would have gone queenless!!!! O yes and if you take out your frames, work over your box. Your queen can fall off and then your hive will go queenless. You could split that blue box more. You could also put an exstra box on that blue hive if you just split it in 2. You can also checkerboard that wooden box, for better performance from your bees and queen

Hey Taras, The first hive in your video with the spotty brood and one queen cup was trying to supersede the queen just by looking at the single queen cup and its placement. If they are swarming they will have many more queen cups going, usually 6+ as seen in your blue hive.

What is a queen cell?
@BellyriaGames6 жыл бұрын
It is a larger structure in the hive that is used to grow new queens. Basically a large cocoon but for bees.
@baconneggs24066 жыл бұрын
☼ Heirloom reviews ☼ its a cell they draw out larger to make a new queen.....queens need more room because they are larger and any female egg can be turned into a queen by the worker bees feeding the larva nothing but royale jelly
