Hi mate I did everything in the video and the launcher starts, but when I click lunch it just does not open the game. Origin says the game is running, but I am stuck on my desktop screen. any advice?

Well you see, you obviously clicked lunch and not launch which causes the client to go on break

everybody when choosing where the game gets installed go to C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour then when that is done click on the other command and conquer generals zero hour folder and put it in there

Hey good vid but I have a question? When I install shockwave it keeps coming up with a "serious error occurred" message yet my regular Zero and Rise Of Reds mod works just fine? Is the reason that Shockwave won't load is because Rise Of Reds is installed? And if this is the issue is there away to have both mods? Maybe create a mods folder or is there a Mod manger program you can get like WrathEd which is the mod manager for Kane's Wrath?

hey i did everything in this video and i already had the fixed launchers but when i press on start it just launches me into normal original zero hour.i use 8.1 and i know my way about the system very well however some stuff just doesent like 8 for som reason.

Hey I’m having some issues with the Bibber launcher fixer. When I install the new launcher it just refuses to launch the game at all. I’ve put the command in the command line and when I don’t install the launchers it just launches the normal game. Is there anything I can try, maybe a new way to install mods?

I know this was 2016 but I'm trying to get this to work atm. I followed everything to the letter and when I launch instead of starting shockwave like yours it comes up with the window to select Generals or Generals zero hour. I select zero hour and then nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, havent played this game/mod for a good few years and would really like to pick it up again. Thanks.

Hey i had the same problem as you. Right directory is: "F:\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour" The Drive letter may differ ofc, but maybe you made the same hasty mistake as i did at first with not putting "\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour" at the end (Yeah you need to put "Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour" there twice). hope this is going to help :)

Just thought* others should know, I just got finished checking for PC issues since Norton detected a Trojan Gen 2 virus after installing Shockwave the same exact way shown here. So, be cautious of that. Fortunately, between Norton and Malwarebytes, I'm probably safe, but I'm concerned that people without any protection on their PC probably have crap on theirs by now.

Wrong. Norton is shit anyway, but in this case it's because the mod makes edits to the base game. Anyone who runs PC mods the old-fashioned way (e.g. without something like Steam's Workshop) should already know that AV programs give false positives on a regular basis. Not because there's something inherently wrong with the file, just because of how the mod makes changes to the base game's files. As long as you download from a reputable source (e.g. ModDB) then your risk of downloading contaminated files is next to none.

+Josh Ingalls 1:26 That's where my particular game is installed to. I have the ultimate collection as well. So it should be in the same spot for you. If you are still unsure, in your Origin client at the top left, click on Origin, then Application settings. Go to the Advanced tab and the first thing on the right should be "Downloaded Games Your games will be installed to the following location:" and that will tell you where they are installed.
