A little error you guys made. When Voldemort went to Grindlewald asking for the elder wand, Grindlewald refuses to tell Voldemort where it is because it would lead to Dunbledore’s grave being desecrated. At the end he wanted to protect his friend’s grave which led to Voldemort killing him. The movies messed up big time on that one.

Grindlewald is actually more powerful than Voldemort. Dumbledore actually said that the only person who came close to matching him was grindlewald in the books. Voldemort couldn’t even beat a kid. Grindlewald took on dozens of wizards at once and came the closest to killing dumbledore. Who everyone says is the most powerful wizard alive

Dumbledore also said that Voldemort's knowledge of magic is greater than any wizard alive and yes Grindelwald was very much alive when he said that. He also called Voldemort the most dangerous dark wizard ever

​@@junior523 actually, what Dumbledore said was voldy PUSHED the BOUNDARIES of DARK magic further than anyone ever had. It's been stated many times throughout the franchises that voldys actual knowledge of magic in general was very limited as he was only interested in one form of magic, dark. Grindelwald studied and became proficient in a vast array of magic, thus his knowledge and understanding of magic is by far superior.

The Highlights of the film for me were Dumbledore and newt's interactions, obviously the other scenes with newt were fun and the ending was sweet. One issue I personally had was the story of credence and who he really is didn't me hit with a wow factor for me compared to when Grindelwald was revealed in the first film.

Well Johnny Depp was always going to be Grindelwald. Since it's revealed he was in disguise by the end of the first film. However; his original appearance was changed when Mads had took the role, which honestly I kind of understand, since that seems more believable for Dumbledore to fall in love with then whatever Johnny had going on. Although, I definitely prefer Johnny's look and performance as the character 10× more

Everyone thinks Dumbledore is such a good noble character. I do not. *SPOILER* Another mistake you guys made is Credence’s relation with the Dumbledore family. According to Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore, Aurelius is actually the illegitimate son of Aberforth, which makes him Albus’ nephew. Aberforth fell in love with an unnamed woman around the same time Albus met Gellert, and obviously impregnated her but they hid the truth and got rid of the baby.
