St Roberts, MO has a great authentic German restaurant called "The Hub'" they have spatzle, various styles of Schnitzels, Sausauges, Sourkraut, etc. good food indeed

I've made spätzle a few times and it's always delicious, especially if you make a nice braised beef with gravy, like osso buco . I imagine the cheese one is fantastic, it just looks so good. Hell, I'd fly the 18,000km to try the spätzle alone.

Spätzle . . . ist DAS ein lecker Fresschen ! ! ! 👍🥰👍 Rostzwiebeln drauf und ne feine Sauce dazu (bei der Knobi nicht fehlen darf), Speckwürfel und der Käse [der in Form geriebenen Gruyère's oben drauf kommt & plus etwas Petersilie KKG ("klitzekleingemixxert", mein Küchencode)] ist gegessen. Nur bevorzuge ich die Art, in der Oma mir das gezeigt hat - vom Brett geschabt - damit die Spatzen auch schön groß werden und man was zum Beißen hat ! Aber das Geilste dabei ist: man schabt sie in's Wasser und dieses dankbare Essen gibt von ganz alleine bescheid, wann es fertig ist, indem es sich an der Oberfläche zeigt und rausgeholt werden will / muss. Ich liebe es, auch als Hesse 🙂 have the hell of a good time enjoying this GREAT food guys (and guls) Baron, PEP cars V8 U.S. car club, Frankfurt Germany
