I like how you pedal between the root and the minor six on the chorus. I have more of a blues background, so I tend to think in fourths and fifths, but that was really cool. It gave it a nice melancholy sound. I also love that you did the best thing you can ever do with a solo - you played the melody. Country might not be my first choice of genre, but you do it really well. Keep it up!

I hear some country, but there is a folksy flavor in all of your songs. Regardless, it's uniquely you and that's what makes it great. Nice little tune, keeping it upbeat during lockdown. Saw your reaction to a couple Metallica songs, figured I'd give a recommendation. Matthew Good is one of my favorite artists, one of the few that I listen to on the lighter side. Strange Days from when he was in the Matthew Good Band is a good one, especially when paired with the video. 99% Of Us Is Failure is also a decent one from his solo work.
