I get that ALOT of you are viewing this as "telling tough love to vtweeters" and yes, it is part of that. (and I agree, I am not a fan of vtweeters who dont do anything other then being "anime karens") BUT, IMO, the overall message is, go out and DO something. Stop being lazy, stop blaiming others for your failures of you not even trying, and do ANYTHING. But the verse about V-Tweeters was completely unnecessary. People are hyping this like it‘s a reality check on a large and toxic part of the community (V-Tweeters) but that is really missing the point. I cannot believe how over-inflated this whole “controversy“ has become. The actual size and impact of these V-Tweeters could not be more exaggerated which is why I believe it is so delusional to believe this is some kind of tough love that the community needed. Twitter has always been a cesspit, but the whole “threat“ that these V-Tweeters pose to the community is entirely fabricated and in reality almost nonexistent. I recently debuted as a vtuber (under another identity of course) and I made my twitter the moment my illustration finished but I was waiting on rigging to finish. Found this song from the comments on a Rev Says Desu video, and honestly, this just adds to the pile of motivation to create my Worlds, and share them for everyone to see. Now it brings up the question; just how much motivation do I need in order to get me to actually share it? Support? I would say what I need is an audience to tell me to do it, and support from that audience, but I know that that only comes from work. Hard work, the very work that I need that support for. Maybe it's my refusal to cheat or self-promote. I have something driving me to do it, but it just isnt working. I have all the motivation in the world, hundreds and thousands of voices telling me indirectly that I have what they are searching for, but I just can't bring it into their reach. Then you can share that story with the world through animation. Can't animate? Bullsh*t, you can move, and if you're reading this, you probably have a way to record yourself. Even if you have only one limb, you can still do it, it just takes more time. You csn Motion Capture yourself, and apply those animations to 3D models. And if you only have one limb, then you _definitely_ have a story to tell. If you had a rough life, you can take inspiration from that. If you're a stuck-up spoiled snob that's full of themself, all it would take is to get off your high horse and you can take an idea and run with it, 'cause that lifestyle means you've got money to spare, so you can do _anything_ with ease. But even if you're poor, you have _some_ kind of technology, for you to be reading this, and that is all you need. Computer? Get OBS and some free game off the internet and do let's plays, earn a living, and from there, you can upgrade. And if you've already got worlds waiting to be released, all you need is to share those worlds, and chances are, you will succeed. Be better than me, and get out there, _share_ what you create.
